Remarks

Good Lab facilities.Good research activities.Not enough trees.Poor accommodation facility for 1st yr PG students.Good placement scenario for M.Tech in Mechanics and Design specialization of Mechanical branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good placement opportunities in Mechanical Design.The ratio of faculty to student is 1:10 roughly.All the faculties are very knowledgeable. A semester is broken into fragments, has timely exams and it's easy to pass, if you're attentive in class.

Placement Experience

Average. From 3rd semester of Post graduation, students become eligible for placements. Many students get PPO while doing internships. Many non-core companies have visited our college. The placement of CSE, IT, ECE are very good.

Campus Life

ELAN is the annual cultural fest. During even semesters, the fests are conducted.Library is smaller than old IITs. The books are available.Many clubs related to different cultural activities are there, such as VIBES-music club, etc.

From placement point of view our collage is in top. Almost 80-90% student got placement in top companies. Jacob, wsp atkins amd more top companies came for placement. Highest package was i guess 14lpa . If some not got placement then he do choose phd.

My Dream College

Placement Experience:

There are many placement oppurtunities like internships and FTEs. The drives for internships will start from the second semester of first year. Students were shortlisted for drives based on the CGPA. Companies like Micron, Qualcomm, Synopsys, Druva visit the campus for hiring. The numbers of offers they provied will not be static. The highest package is about 38 LPA and avg is about 19 LPA. 90-95% students are placed in the previous batches. My plan after getting a degree is join in a corporate to showcase my talent and make contributions to the projects.

Here the placement is good not great. It all depends upon the market. Here many companies come like Qualcomm, Micron, Samsung, Nvidia and many other big companies. 70% of students get placed every year.
