Remarks

Since the college is closer to my home town I chose this institute. The admission is through COAP. The college is located near the western ghats mountains. The construction of the college is now going on.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course only because of IIT tag. The faculties are very talented and supportive. We have approximately 0.25 faculty:student ratio. All the faculties are Doctorates. The exams were conducted once in 6 weeks. The exams were moderate to pass.

Class Size: 13Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Placement Experience

Since we are the first batch of MTech students to be passed out, we didn't get expected placement offers. The students are eligible for placement from pre-final semester. The placement for Btech students are good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is 13500 ( Institute fees) and 26000 ( Hostel fees) per semester. For Mtech, the student are assisted with a Financial assistance of 12400 per month. The students have to assist Staffs for getting TA.

Campus Life

We have annual sport fest called Sportacus in which several indoor and outdoor games are conducted. We also have annual cultural fest called Petrichor in which several dance and music competitions are conducted.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
