My Life at KU, Tamil Nadu

My University is UCG and NBA approved. Also, it has got accreditated by NAAC with Grade 'A' and ranked 101 by NIRF in 2020.Moreover, the fee for the program I opted is 1.8 lakhs only which was too affordable to my family. And the best thing is its placement record which increases every year and top recruiters show their participation for placement drive. So, these are the main reasons that made me enroll myself into this college.The admission process of my college include completing the registration process in which firstly I registered myself and then filled the application with required details and most importantly, the score of CAT, and marks obtained in previous academics. Further, on the basis of my past academic record and score in competitive management exam was considered and an admission offer letter was sent to me.

The course curriculum for MBA program is designed such that we can meet the requirements of the business world. Through the excellent teaching and learning environment, our highly qualified faculties impart quality education in order to amplify our entrepreneurship skills, creative skills, managerial skills, personality development and others. In addition to this, we get business knowledge, ability to work in a team, professional integrity, we learning the business problem and solutions to fix it, and so on. Further, the core subjects that are taught in 4 semesters are principles of management, organizational behaviour, accounting for management, financial management, operations management, principles of banking and insurance. However, we are also taken to the industrial visit, elective subjects are also taught, industrial training is given, and we get project work in the last semester in which our faculty members help a lot.

The large number of seniors from our department got placed in companies like Cognizant, Byju's, IBM, Wirpo, TATA Consultancy Services, Amazon, and others.However, the other top recruiters that visited our campus IDBI Federal, Zoho Corp, Just Dial, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Samsung, and so forth. Moreover, the highest package bagged by our senior was 8 LPA and the average package to most of the seniors was 3 LPA. Also, our college offers summer internship programme where a few are provided with stipend as well. Finally, once I am done with my masters in management course i.e. MBA, I have decided to go for higher studies rather than joining an organisation.

The fee for MBA in my university is 90.5 thousands in the first year and that for both the years, 1.8 lakhs is the total amount which I paid. Moreover, for housing and food, extra expenses were charged. Though the MBA fee is quite affordable yet our college offers scholarship but most of them is for B.Tech and other courses. For MBA students, there is no such provision and I have not avail the scholarship either.Also, one can take the educational loan for pursuing MBA from bank/financier like Advanse, Credila, Axis Bank, Auxilo, and Incred. However, rate of interest may vary from bank to bank.

The infrastructure of our college and the facilities provided here are too good. Our campus has library which is fully air-conditioned and the seating capacity is 750. It has collection of journals, magazines, periodicals, books, project reports, case studies, and many more. Other than this, our college has sports complex, swimming pool, labs, multi-cuisine cafeterias, medical facilities, gym, WiFi connectivity, convenience store, shuttle service, hostel for boys and girls, and so forth. Further, there are number of clubs which are accountable for organising events. So, events like Milan, Pradharshini, Vyuha, Legack, Festember are organised by Fine Arts Club. Moreover, there is nature group which is further divided into 4 groups and those are Rescue Group, Awareness Group, Research Group, and Photographic Group. Other than this, blood camp, workshop on youth empowerment, yoga day celebration are done and it feels like every time we celebrate one or the other things throughout the year. And so, I am creating a lot of memories here and life at this place is going amazing.
