Remarks

It is one of the Institution of National Importance. It has the mentor Institute Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat. It is situated in Surat, one of the major city in Gujarat. Computer Science Program is good compared to Electronics and Communications program. Peers are very good and has good Competitive Coding and Development Environment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good it includes modern subjects like High Performance computing, blockchain, Web Development, Cloud Computing and Big Data Analytics. Faculty is relatively new and don't have great experiences ,however it is improving day by day with new recruitments.

Placements are good when compared to other institutes established along with IIIT Surat like IIIT Bhopal and IIIT Bhagalpur. Its the first batch and placements will go up from here on.

Campus Life

Its great as we share campus with SVNIT Surat. So we get interaction with our peers along with from students of our mentoring institute. We share common sports facilities as of now and participate in tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

Rent is comparatively cheap and standard , Girls hostel is good . For boys its average (Tagore Bhawan). For First year boys the hostel is Gajjar bhawan which is very good and has all the necessary services inclusive of high speed internet.

there is a faculty is very supportive and always ready to guide students academically
the curriculum is practical and includes case studies , presentations those help me developing real world business skill
placement cell also provides training and support for internship and final placements

Dislikes

college sports facilities are less also the monsoon season some we are face some of problems

The academic schedule is sometimes very busy, which gives students less free time.
There are many assignments and presentations, which can become difficult to manage sometimes.

Balanced College Life with Good Academics

Placements at ITM (SLS) Baroda University are good and improving. Students usually bescome elgible from the final year/last semster. companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and other local companies visit the campus. the average pacakge is aroung 2-4 LPA, and the highest package can go higher depending on skills. A good number of students get placements, especiaaly those with strong skills and preparation. The college also supports students with training and guidence.

In this year college fatality are included so I like this like sports ground, gym etc
Education are given by very well educated professional
College campus are very good, also College canteen are good.

Dislikes

Mess are not good in this college so I don't like this
Also if I order some food from out side some restriction are present
Also in hospital heater are not present also other instruments are also not present

I choose this because I want to be doctor in my family because no one is doctor in my full family. I just want to be doctor. I study for this course sens 11 th but I don't get college in 12 th pass because neet mark are not good. In mbbs you should study regularly so you can pass all exams ezely. Mainly difficulty are not fix all time .

Campus is also good and big there is more number of trees so you feel fresh everyday
They provide 24 hour reading room and libarry so you can read in comfortable environment

Canteen is small comapre to student rush and food is also okay okay
Hostel facility needs improvement and proper cleanliness missing
College function are not good compare to other gmers like annual and all

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024. These college only accept jee mains score and no exams will be accepted for b.tech admissions, General cutoff of my college for cse is 35k and for ece is 47k in jee mains....Read More
