This is the top institute of india where i can grow my theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge. In this college for M.Tech we can take admission by registration in COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal), where you can registered after clearing the GATE examination. If there vacant any seat in college then they provide the spot round. In the spot round they give priority to student who have the higher GATE score.
Course Curriculum Overview
Here the course curriculum change according to the new technology come in the market. Teaching faculty is very good but not as much experienced as the !st generation IIT and college tries to all possible help to the student if they want to learn something.
Internships Opportunities
There are more internship available in college but I did not any internship. Many outside college student come here for the intern. If you're the student of the college and you're sincere then you can take easily internship here.
Placement Experience
There are less placement scenario for masters student as comparison to the old IIT. If yore background related to coding section then you can take easily placement from here. Fee Structure And Facilities
For M.tech fees for !st semester nearly 44k in which 7k is caution money and for other semester nearly 35k. They provide M.Tech and MS student 12.4k monthly student fellowship but only up to 24 months. There is average placement scene not good as 1st generation IIT. The average package of placement for masters student here nearly 8lpa.
Campus Life
The life of campus is very good. At flat region it expands around 273 acres, which is a much big campus in such a hill station. Environment is very good here and there is so many place for visiting. Manali is only 100 km aprt from here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is very good. There are also Single seater, 2 seater and 3 seater room are available. Rooms are newly maintained. wifi reaches every room. Every hostel in every floor, 1 study room, 1 iron, 1 induction and washing machine 1 table tenis, news paper in each hostel available. The rent of hostel for all these things is only 6k per semester.
