Remarks

Amity entrance exam was a computer-based exam on the following subjects: English & Maths. Minimum criteria were 60% in CISCE/CBSE in all the major subjects like Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc. The minimum age was 18.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because biotechnology has a very bright future in the industry due to the rise in medical demands. All the faculties are well qualified. Various faculties have done their Ph.D. from foreign institutes. Exams are conducted on time and the exam schedule comes 2-3 weeks before the commencement of the examination.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies like Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, BYJUs, Evalueserve, Manforce, etc come for placements in the college. The highest package was 10lacs PA and the average package is between 3-6 lacs. 90% of the students are placed opt for college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are hiked at the rate of 5% per every year successively. The cost to study will be around 13-14 lacs for 4 years. Hostel accommodation for AC is 1.6 lacs per annum whereas for NON AC hostel is 80000 per annum.

Campus Life

Amity Youth Festival (AYF) is the annual fest which is conducted in the month of Feb-March. Our library is well furnished with books from all over the world. There are plenty of amenities provided on the campus,

Hostel Facilities

In an AC hostel you are provided with a single room with a cupboard, desk, chair, bed, pillow, curtains. Whereas in a NON AC hostel you are sharing your room with 2 or 3 persons. The mess provides healthy food at a reasonable rate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
