Remarks

I had completed counseling from Rourkela and I had choosen KIIT University for BTech admission but at that time admission fee was almost double as compared to CV Raman global University that's why I chose cv Raman as this college was also good to record that time.

I had chosen civil engineering as my father is a civil engineer and they suggested doing so.For every 40 students, there was a faculty appointed for them. All faculties were passed out from recognized Colleges like IITs niits and all. They had a very good experience with teaching.Exams were conducted after 6 months and internal exams conducted after 3 months and it's not difficult to pass

Fees and Financial Aid

My College fee was 98000 that time and the hostel fee was almost 60,000 Rs. College failed to provide any job and stipend as it was not famous for civil engineering.Most IT students got selected for placement

Campus Life

Every year annual fest was celebrated in that college where students had opportunities to participate and win prizes and scholarships.A central library was there for students and it was well equipped with wifi facilities. There was lots of social group in that time like one group for college, one for girl's hostel and one for Civil engineering

Hostel Facilities

Moderate facilities were provided for students in the hostel. As per my point of view, meal quality was very very poor and unhealthy so mostly we cooked food from own. I lived only in the hostel which is inside the premises

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

A Balanced Blend of Learning, Growth and Campus Life at CVRGU

I chose C V Raman Global University due to its placement, less fees and modern infrastructure and updated curriculum. Compared to other colleges I apploed to CVRGU offered better labs industry exposure and a more practical learninf approach. I couldn't make it to few government colleges due to cut- off ranks.
