A life In WIT Solapur

As it is a Jain minority college, I didn't choose other colleges. The faculty here is so good, which I got to know from my seniors and cousins. After getting admission every process was mellow. Faculties are very helpful and friendly in nature, they help us in every possible way. Placements are also good here and the rate of placement is 80% in our college.

I had a peculiar interest in Computer Science and heard the maximum placement is from this branch only. The exams of Solapur university are very timely in manner. All faculties are good in knowledge. The faculty student ratio is 1:8.

Training and Internships are provided by Red Hat, regional companies. The projects are very educative and are completed by students within their deadlines. Students should search for more opportunities for internships from big companies and faculty helps to get that if the students are willing to.

There are on campus placements of companies like Red-Hat, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro and other IT companies and some Automobile companies also. 80% of students get placed from every branch and The average packages offered are 3.6 lpa and the maximum packages offered are ranging from 16lpa to 18 lpa. These are offered by Infosys, Byju's and Red-hat.

Students who have got admission through mhcet can get ebc and Jain minority students also get scholarships. Students who got admission through jee score will have to pay full fees except for Jain minority students.

Campus life is very luxurious. There's a sports festival than an annual national hackathon called WITCHAR. Then there are various workshops throughout the year. There's also different cells and social welfare groups, NSS is one of them and conducts blood donation campaigns two times a year inside college only. A big library to study and do technical activities. Every department has its own labs. The biggest lab is of the mechanical engineering department as they have their own workshop.

The college has its own hostel outside campus at a distance of 300m. The registeration process is through college only and they provide well maintained rooms which are cleaned once every week and the mess is also provided inside the hostel campus only. They provide nice food and quality of food is very well. The rooms have attached bathroom and the rooms have space for two people only consisting of two beds and two shelfs.
