Have appeared for CMAT Feb Entrance Exam and got 231/400 which was around 96 percentile. After assessing all my options, NL Dalmia and Welingkar was the best available option.

I specifically chose Business Design and Innovation course. And what exactly interest me a lot in this course is all together cross-functional approach towards business. Like, we don’t have any kind of specialisation in Marketing, Finance, HR or Operation. We have been taught subjects like marketing, finance and more than this there are lots of interesting subjects like Prototyping, Business creation, exploring the grassroots.

Yes, they provide internship for all students. General stipend for my batch was around 10 k. Regarding the experience, it was mix. For few people they got decent exposure and for few people they got a project which was monotonous with very few learning.

For my batch it was decent. Almost 90% of the people got placed before April month and average being closer to 6.5 LPA. Half of the batch placed in IT Industry, with a job profile - Associate Consultant, Business Analyst, Business Development and in HR. From BD, everyone placed except who opted out of placement process.

For my batch it was annually 4.3 Lakh College fees (Need to pay the fees twice in a year), Annually 90k for Hostel (Need to pay once in a year). So, 10.4 Lakh for Welingkar Tuition fees plus Hostel Fees.

I don't think so welingkar provide loan facility directly. But you could easily get an educational loan from any nationalised bank if you show them offer letter and other details.

Welingkar Banaglore campus is small but very good. Use of transparent glasses in most areas like doors, sliding windows it gives you different feeling than other classrooms. Gender ratio should be around 65: 35.

Alumni network of welingkar bangalore is still growing and you can't compare it to the Welingkar Mumbai even. I would say this, as an alumni of welingkar bangalore, I feel like college has to take extra effort to connect with Alumni of We School bangalore than what they are doing.

Welingkar follows 6 trimester pattern. For Business Design and PGDM E-business, the last trimester is detailed research on a topic or internship. In a Trimester, this was generally the pattern 2 Internal test assignment for a subject. Final External Exam which carries around 60% of the mark alloted to the subject.

I would say, overall faculty is good. There's good mixture of faculty across verticals and industry. Generally, you will find very friendly and helping faculty in welingkar. Guest faculty and Industry people for certain topics are also good and they give the relevant current information about industry.
