Entrance Preview

Indian institute of tech joint entrance exam. I score 210 marks . My category is general. I opted this college as this is a famous brand plus it was also nearby to my home.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college do provide internships specially summer internship. You need to look into their website a fill out a form that is being floated around the months of december.

Placement Experience

Around 80% of students are placed. Companies that give offer include google, amazon, ms, apple, linkedin, etc . Basically if you are good student and awesome learner , you are more than likely to be placed within 5 days of placement season however the uncertainity in the placement season prevails.

Yes, Alumni will be helpful as they have already gone through your path. They will tell you where to concentrate and where to not.

Exam Structure

There are 8 semesters in the entre curriculum. Among the semesters there are 3 exams in which weightages are divided. The fisrt two midsems carry a weightage of 20-20 percentage and the 50% marks are assigned to end semester also known as final exam. 10% are derived from assignments and class activities.

Admission

Through Joint entrance exam. You need to study the whole 12th in a crisp way and then you have to clear the exam. After that there are 4 rounds of counselling for the same where you are required to fill the desired courses and they select you on the asis of seats available.

Faculty

The faculty of college are an important part of any student's learning. However this is a very basic trend in IITS that besides faculty 77% of learning of student is gained by them only.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is not good at all. The avrage package of this college is around 4-5 Lpa. Because this college is new so the placement is not good here. But Our college is trying their best for getting the good placement to student.

Campus placement was good as I came but it is degrading year to year, this year only 30 percent of ece students are placed, no more company of ece core came here ece and cse get same job as no of students increased in my batch 300 and ece 250 thus in 2027 placement will become worst , Upsc, gate, ssc these are end things

IIT Patna is very best in India. According to NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Patna is ranked 36th in the overall category, and 39th in the research institutes category. In the India Today rankings 2024, it was ranked 9th in the category of colleges. Admission process was very smooth, firstly you apply / registration in B.Sc (CSDA) course.
