Remarks

i had given with uptu exam and qualified with average marks then i was seeking for the best college in u.p so i go through the counseling process and i always have jss as my dream college because of its locality, faculty and other aspects. on counseling day its very easy to get through every process no extra work is required just come with your basic documents like allotment letter and 10th and 12th mark sheet and your character and migration certificate, rest the college will provide you and to being here one need to study for the entrance exam to get through the cutoff and age limit was not there but now since jee is the exam to be cleared to come here so, one should really be focused because now there are limited chances to appear for this very exam

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculty of JSS is really good, helpful, and intelligent except for some others. They really work hard to make us understand the concepts and help us to get through our doubt. There are 3 internal assessments with practicals and assignments and if one is only consistent in class with focus its not hard to clear the internals and if talking about externals teachers help us with all the way they can, starting from how to write to what to write in exam Just be consistent and attentive in classes, rest all will be at ease then

Internships Opportunities

2.5

some basic internships are given during summer and winter break but the stipend is not always there u can even note that u would be lucky if you get such an internship that will pay you in stipend i don't have any idea about projects

Placement Experience

2

yes placements are open after3rd year and many educational companies visit our college along with few tech companies for the students of CS and IT but yes for the core branches there is no such specific company to visit and no such placements had been there in core branches so far the highest package from our college was 40 lac per annum and on average it's 4.5 to 5.5 lac per annum around 35 percent of students get placed but a maximum of us from core branch after having the course and such an amazing experience we go for ESE and gate examinations

Fees and Financial Aid

fees are little high around 1,37,850 and 1,19,850 for the next three years but it's worth investing because of the faculty and student crowd, many can afford but the ones having gross family income less than 2 lacs for gen and 2.5 lacs for SC/ST are eligible for U.P government scholarship that will provide you with around 50,000 Rs. per year but other than this there is no such other financial support and scholarship from the college side

Campus Life

4

there is fewer number of fest in cultural and technical aspect the cultural fest is called zelicon and other than this there are many clubs and socities to be joined like the dramatic club, literature club, dance club and sports club, car racing group, societies working with ngo for underprivileged children and a lot many more to explore and enjoy and to learn to grow and interact library and cafeteria is good with facilities and also the sports ground is very good with many skilled players as a student and there are many other things to explore about your own self

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
