Life at YMCA Faridabad

In my college admission process is based on the rankings through the JEE exam. If your rank qualify a certain cutoff than you can apply in the college for admission. I got 170 marks in my JEE main examination in the year 2015 and got a rank of 22000 in that year so I applied for the computer engineering department and got admission. Admission procedure id dobe through counseling and then you get admission in the college. My counselling day was pretty god I got seat in computer science department in the first round . And you can see through their website how many seats are occupied and how many are available. I'm my course admission is done only on the basis of JEE main rank

I chose computer science because it is a field which is very future proff. Even though it is hard to get but benefits are good also. Placement percentage in my batch was 81. I also wanted tobe a software developer so that's why I chose this course. The faculty here is pretty talented and there are lot of good project in which you can participate. We had a faculty: student ratio of1:40 approx. They taught us on projector and boards and their method were decent enough. Exam are conducted semester wise and it is pretty much easy to pass the exam considering we had to qualify jee main with good marks Exams were conducted offline

Internship are available for mostly girls but few are available for boys also. Intership offer job like assistant in software programs. Many students apply for internship offline and mainly they are for computer related stuff but some are available in mechanical core companies like maruti honda etc

There are internships available in 3rd year . Which are provided by the companies on the campus . And for placement are done in 4th year many reputed companies come like amzon,maruti ,some financial companies , samsung etc and jobs placement are good provided by the college In my branch highest package is around 17 lpa While average package in my branch is around 8 lpa I'm my course placement ratio was 81%nkw I am working in amazon

Our fees for the first semester was 40000rs approx for the tution charges event though there was a price hike of 20-30 % in my third year. And the hostel charges are 7800 and mess charges were 3700 for boys and 2600 for girls. There are scholarship for the students of the state of Haryana. There were few campus jobs also

College Life is always one of the most important part of someone's life. And for my college I would say it's pretty great . Even though campus is situated in industrial area and compus is not so big compared to other flashy college but it is great. There us a annual fest also but it is not that big. There is a library also with aur conditioned room and there are a lot of books about course and other things . Sports is also good with more focus on kabaddi and football. There are many clubs also I joined club named MANAN which is the club for coding

Hostel are okay type . Not that great but not that bad either only first year students get hostel after that you have to shift into PG .Hostels facilities are available like wifi fans but not AC or coolers. After 1st year you have to get PG in the near locality. Mess food is okay not that bad . Registration for hostel is done through offline form
