Remarks

I applied to multiple colleges. But culture and grooming at BITS was a better offer to me in comparison to other admits. One gets ample opportunities to explore out of academics as well. And of course, the recognition as a brand name is sound enough along with a strong alumni network. Internship opportunities in the midst of your course helps you shape the right learning curve ahead of joining as a full-time post your placements. A decent percentage of students bag an offer as PPO (pre-placement offer) during internships, allowing a student to grab multiple offers as well, given the conditions by the placement comittee. Life does not stop at academics though, we have multiple cultural, sports, technical festivals being organised thoughout the year at different times which observes national participation. Students get to pursue their passions alongside their studies being a part of different clubs/committees for example: Photography, Drama, Arts, Aerodynamics, Marketing, Wallstreet etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My inclination towards mathematics led me to this course. The faculty of Chemical Engineering at BITS comes with a solid background and recognition. A lot of ongoing research across the country at various stages is propelled and supported by the faculty, which not only makes you feel proud but also leaves you with immense opportunities to learn.

Internships Opportunities

4

A lot of multinational companies conduct placement sessions. The big pool of companies like Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Mckinsey, Bain, BCG do come to offer jobs. Projects from various business verticals are offered. based on the candidate's interest, they can apply to their aspired role.

Placement Experience

4

FOr a single degree student, one becomes eligible from the 4th year onwards. For dual degree students, one gets eligible for placements starting their 5th year. Averagely 98%of students are offered a job. A lot of students do opt for higher studies or wish to pursue their off-campus offers and therefore denying the offer back from college.

Fees and Financial Aid

As per the policy, BITS has stated a maximum hike of around 15% per anum. Scholarship is provided based on both merit and as well as needs (low income criteria). The college helps you with the Financial Assistance by helping you with a partnered educational loan with SBI.

Campus Life

4

Various cultural, technical and sports festivals are obsereved at different times throught the year. The fest observes national level participation with a great foot-fall. Classrooms are aided with projectors to help with presentations as per requirements. Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities are well provided.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is very decent. you get an option for sharing as well a single occupancy based on the allocations or availablity. the infrastructure is decent with the mess facility. It is mandatory for each and every student to stay at the hostel.
