I applied for ABES Engineering College, AKG Engineering College and KIET. I found that ABES Engineering College was better and more suitable for me. So, I took admission to this College. For taking admission to this college, a student must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks. If a student is taking admission through UPSEE counselling, then he/ she must clear the cut-off marks of the college which changes every year. The admission process is very smooth. At first, you have to fill an online admission form and upload the required documents. Then, you have to go to the college directly for the final admission process which includes the verification of important documents and paying the total fees.

I have opted for BTech in CSE as I love programming and it also provides many job opportunities in different fields. As we know, placements in this branch are very good as compared to core branches. Approximately, there are at least 30 students under the guidance of 1 teacher. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and are very supportive. Most of the teaching is theoretical, but the labs provided are well-equipped and in good condition. At least 3 exams are taken by college before semester end exam. The exams are timely taken but sometimes rushed. Difficulty of exams ere moderate and were helpful for preparing for semester end exam.

From the 6th semester, the students get the opportunity of placement according to their skills and capabilities. Companies like Amazon, Adobe, Google, Microsoft visits hiring capable students. Dome of the mass recruiters visits regularly every year are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. The highest salary package offered here is 27 LPA and the average salary package reaches 5-6 LPA. Every year more than 95% of students get placed in good companies. After getting the degree, I will opt for higher studies in a good university.

Total academics to be paid to the college is approx Rs 1,36,000 per year. The fees changes every year but not much. Total hostel fees (including mess) is Rs 90,000 per year (approx.) for non-AC rooms and Rs 1,00,000 per year for AC rooms. Wearing the college uniform is mandatory which cost Rs 7800. Transport facility is also provided in our college and its fees are approximately Rs 15,000 per year. Scholarships for BTech programs are determined by the state government and AKTU every year for which we have to apply online.

Our college arranges fests every few months some of which are Genero Techno Cultural events, Trikumbh Technical Fest, Tejas Management Fest, Annual CSI Tech Fest. Library provides books for every semester to all students at the start of the semester. One can also issue books of his choice but has to return them in time or a weekly fine is to be paid by them. Our college provides all types of sports facilities i.e. Cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, badminton, table tennis. It also has a swimming pool. There is a big cricket ground provided with floodlights for day-night matches. Our college arranges ABES cricket cup every year in which teams of various other colleges participate. There various types of clubs in our college like Cultural club, Creative club, Environ club, Samvaad theatres - dramatic club, Dancing club, Faculty sports club.
