Mostly I applied for colleges having good campuses and a lot of opportunities for the future. It was through the MHT Cet exam. Followed by CAP rounds. You have to register for counseling and after that, a merit list comes out. On the basis of merit No. in your category you get the colleges of your preference. I applied for SCOE because I found the campus too student-friendly and the type of opportunities that we get here are amazing. Perhaps my college has one of the best campus life in Pune. Also, the placements are decent too for the information technology department.

The term exams are taken as per the university norms they are standardized and have a good level of difficulty. The exams are conducted every month twice. The college has a decent faculty and most of the faculty are Ph.D. or perusing Ph.D. Faculty to student ratio is 30:1

Students get internships from college in 3rd year. Companies like TCS and Accenture offer internships and stipend too. Most interns get jobs from where they get to learn from. Students with good coding skills get maximum internships for my branch (IT). There are many companies and Startups nearby the campus.

In the 6th semester, the placement drive starts. Students with average academics can also apply for placements. Companies like Accenture, Cognizant, AWS, Capgemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, JTP, sometimes Microsoft visit the campus regularly. The average package ranges between 4-6 LPA. The highest salary (international) was 34LPA And many product-based companies offer 10-12 LPA depending upon the applicant. For average students with fewer skills, mass recruitment takes place where 400+ students get selected each year. The placement percentage for IT and Computer is 90% for other branches it is nearly 60%.

The total fee is nearly 135000 per annum but if the student falls under government Maha DBT scholarship eligibility for different categories then the fees may vary. For OBC fees is nearly 78000 and it varies according to category and income of the candidates family. People perusing Mtech get stipends and students get opportunities to earn through various competitions held inside the campus.

Campus life is best in the city. The annual fest held is the biggest student festival in Pune named Karandak. There are a lot of social groups including the art circle, National Service Scheme, various racing clubs, and sports facilities and competitions. There are clubs for all types of activities and competitions are held regularly. Concerts and gatherings are part of karandakk.

Hostels here are quite good and most of the students live in hostels. Hostels are lead every alternative day and good drinking water and bathing water is provided. Every hostel has a guardian and strict security checks. Hostels are quite affordable and feasible. Every student studying in the institute for all the years can apply for hostels. The meal provided is of average quality but it is manageable.
