Remarks
College management is good however only drawback with this college is that it does not extend placement services. Students opt for courses such as MBA and pay a hefty fees so that at least the are certain about their career. Everything is good about this college however the main important bit is Placement for which college does not support students. For this reason it is not recommended to join Executive MBA course from this college.
Entrance Preview
Have taken CAT and achieved a score of 85%, have opted this college for my Executive MBA as the college has reputation across the forum and also was affordable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course design and electives were elaborate. It i a general Management course however you have an option of selecting maximum electives in one particular stream such as Marketing, Finance, Operations. Total four semesters with 1st and 2nd semesters have basis courses on Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Operations. The 3rd and 4th semesters are more advanced and includes subjects on General Management and strategy. Electives included advanced marketing, IT strategy and Operations, International Business, Simulated Gaming Models to understanding complete business Management.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internship for regular courses however not for Executive course. College only supports for looking for internship using their exiting contacts in the Corporates however never push much for the Executive course. Its like students are responsible to opt for internship and find their own ways of getting into corporate. For student who do not manage to get internship in any of the companies are given a research project in which students themselves chose their mentor/guide professors and work on one subject in detail to understand its application in the business world.
Placement Experience
No Placement assistance fro College for the Executive course. Students themselves have to look out for openings through Job search portals. College does not want to jeopardise the existing Regular MBA courses placements which is why they do not let the Executive MBA students even sit in the placements.
College Events
KJ SIMSR is full of cultural and sports activities with every month having some or the other celebrations. It starts with an Induction week comprising of yoga and bonding session. Then comes up the Fresher's party, every week guest lectures, indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess tourament. Then there is cultural night with fashion show, live Band performances, Dance competition, singing competition, marketing mela, annual fest, alumni meet, and farewell parties. Every festival be it Diwali, Holi, Navratre, Ganesha chaturthi is celebrated in the campus. Special DJ night and Dandiya night is also few of the most awaited events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees as compared to other colleges is bit on a lesser expensive side. Even the Hostel Boarding and Lodging fees is affordable. Unlike other private colleges there are no hidden or surprise fees to be borne by the students. Book and tution fees is all inclusive in the Education fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no loan or scholarship facility given. Students can opt for education loan on their own. College has no tie up for such things. It is all dependent upon student choice.
Campus Life
Campus is huge with great amenities to play Badminton, Carrom, Table tennis and Gym. They have courses to attend on Yoga and meditation, Vocational courses on learning other languages and spiritual courses as well on Jainism and Buddhism. College also provide sports courses on Lawn tennis and Squash. Extra curricular activities keep happening in college like debates, extempore, Presentations, inter college events just to name few.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good with all basic amenities provided, Rooms are clean but a bit congested. Daily cleaning of hostel rooms and corridor is done under strict supervision and hence the place is ok for a healthy stay. Laundery facilities are provided which are quite affordable with Rs 5/- for ironing charges and Rs 10/ for washing and ironing charges. Coming to Mess food, the bf and snacks are good and has variety but the night dinner is not at all tasty. It all tastes the same and students at times have found it unhygienic to eat.
Alumni/Alumna
College has good bonding an network with the alumni. Every year they celebrate two days alumni meet. There is an alumni cell formed of students which keeps interacting with the alumni and seek for assistance in terms of even sponsorship, internship referrals and placements as well.
Exam Structure
Every semester has a written semester exam of 50% weight-age. Remaining 50% is split between class participation, Unit exams, presentations and attendance. Class tests could be surprise tests as well. Presentations could be group or individual depending upon the course professor. Few professors also take interactive gaming tests to judge student's level of understanding on the subject.

They bring along Hands on experience and have complete knowledge in terms practical situations and complications arising in business scenarios. Teaching staff for courses such as Strategy ad International Business are well versed with the jargons and make the subject even more interesting by citing great examples.
