Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is fairly balanced. With equal weight for all subjects the thing with SIBM is right from day 1 you need to know and choose your specialization stream from between Finance, Marketing,Operations and Human resources a student is encouraged to research but as such there is lack of a proper course/guidance for the same.
Internships Opportunities
Every student has to undergo an internship for 2 months post the 1st year of their course the college's placement team helps students get a good internship through the on on campus SIRP or summer internship recruitment programme the stipend varies from a 20,000 to a 60,000 pm (2012 data).
Placement Experience
Because of the fact that you choose the specialization on the first day about 60% students are placed by Day 3.Coke, Amazon, RIL, HUL, Tara Motors are some of the companies that visit.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are no short of a five star hotel one room accommodates two/three/four students there are in room washrooms.
Faculty
SIBM professors are PhD or experts in their fields most of the profs during my time were visiting faculty who had a vast experience in the field of their knowledge. But note : faculty is not the biggest strength for SIBM.
