Remarks
After completing my diploma in Mechanical engineering I got PVG COET, Pune for BE. The process was through CAP rounds based on your aggregates etc. I was 1st high percentage guy in the list of 24 who got admission into direct second year engineering(after diploma). The 24th guy was with 70% with reservation. There was no such counseling process as got the seat based on merit.
Course Curriculum Overview
Why did I choose the course btw you should never ask any engineer why they opt for the specific course bcoz most of them don't know the answer as well. The Infrastructure is pretty good with lush greenery but compact as it is in the city, decent lab, okay okay library, and a shared playground. Faculty are okay some are pretty good while some are the ones that you find on every other campus. If you opt for any other branch like CS,IT,ENTC then attendance is a must. But overall college is not that strict except few HOD's/Faculties. Otherwise, it's a University recognized, AICTE approved, and all that stuff.
Placement Experience
If you are CS,IT,ENTC no need to worry will get a decent CTC, and if not there are many opportunities outside the campus. But if you belong to mechanical gear up and be ready to swim harder bcoz fewer companies come and CTC is avg 3LPA. Rest you can apply off-campus as I did to get a good one.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are General category then be ready to pay 98k+ if not then it's good for you as you saved your parent's hard-earned money. As per govt different scholarships are there but you need to knock to respective authorities many times of the same and wait for long as well.
Campus Life
Library is okay but not available for 24/7. Generally, the library is housefull during exam time and you need to take efforts to find space for studying. The playground is shared with junior colleges and schools of the same trust. Fest and functions are enjoyable and sports competitions are pretty great for enthusiasts. Individual department fest is thereafter one or two months.
