My College Experiences

UPSEE Entrance Exam. You have to apply online for this Exam. them Test is offline and you can give this Exam. My rank was 9025.

Overall course was good. I think they must focus more on practical training and practical way of teaching. Labs were not so good and sometimes equipment were not working for many weeks. Theoretical teaching was superb, Specially in 1st year, they put a strong base for students.

Yes they provide Internship sometime. Stipend vary as per the nature of Job-like its designing, some documentation, library keeping etc.

Placement and Job Opportunities for IT and CS are good. But for core branches like, Mechanical, electrical and civil, it was tough. Very Few companies came. Mostly student prepares for GATE in final Year and had placements in PSU. Many students tried by themselves in Job Fairs and they were successful in getting jobs. 65% of students were placed at that time.

Deepratri - Many people gather at Hostel to celebrate this festival. We had many functions that time. People can sing enjoy dance and keep the smile on their face. All college was decorated that time. Yearly college fest. - College organises various competition in the fest.

Fee structure was ok. Less expensive than others. It was around 1 lakh per year. Hostel fees was reasonable 60000 rs per year. Totally it was good experience an with Bank loan t can be easily done. Other Private colleges are more expensive than this one.

Sometimes college give the scholarship to bright students like waive tuition fee for 1 year. Few students were given 100% scholarship based on their academic performance.

Campus life was great and it was full of fun. At my time there were less buildings , So ground was very big. But after that they made 2 more Big Building and ground is small now. Gender Ratio was 10:6. There were many co-curricular activities like labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc.

Yes, Alumni were helpful in providing the appropriate guidance whenever needed. The college has their own alumni sites, where they post jobs , Internships etc.

By Counselling of UPSEE. We have to go to counselling centre fixed by UPTu and give pref of college. After they allot college to us, We have to Report to College admission centre. You have to submit all original document with letter of admission issued by counselling centre. They will return the original documents after 2 months. All procedure needs lot of documents but most difficult part is to get Medical certificate by CMO office.

Sometimes few faculties were strange. Few faculties did not take interest in the subject. The faculty is mostly not Masters except professors. Sometimes I don't feel good in case of faculties. Over experience in case of faculties was not good. They should hire more qualifies faculties.
