Happy College life

The college I applied to is MAIMS and the reason for not attending the MAIMS is that it is far away from my house. No, I do not have any quota. The Admission for BCOM Hons is that there is an entrance based exam after that candidates get the ranks and then they alloted the college. The students have to complete(10+2) from a recognized college. The minimum aggregate marks is only 50% and the minimum age is only 21. In the admission process, students have to fill the college choices after getting the ranks. There are many rounds like first, second, and many more. When the students get the college in the first round and if they freeze the college in the first round then they only get the college. They do not go to the next round. The university conducts sliding and spot counseling to fill the vacant seats.

I chose the BCOM hons course because I was more interested in Commerce field. It has both Theortical and practical concept. It helps the students to gain knowledge. I took JIMS kalkaji because of the Faculty many of them are PHD holders from the recognised college. The way of teaching is very easy and knowledgeable. The ratio of faculty and students is 1:15. The exam were held twice in one semester that is one is internal and second is external. The internal exam is held in college and it is quite easy to pass and second is external exam which held in other campus and it is difficult to pass.

The placement cell, the college provides is active throughout the year and provides various internship opporunites. Internship offered by startup but companies like collegedunia, skillareana, whitehatjr also provides internship opporunities. The average stipend is around 2000 and based on incentives or not. The project is given on the practical basis and help them to gain college and experience new things. It is compulsory to do internship in last year for 2 months.

The JIMS has its own Placement cell which comprises teachers and students working together to get the best opporunities. The Placement Socities is active throughout the internship opporunities. The internship opporunities are open for all the years whether it is the first year or final year. The campus placement starts in September and only for the final year. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Google, Godrej and Many more provides offer to the students. For the UG graduates, the average CTC offers ranges Rs. 2 lacs to 3 lacs. The placement of the college is 95-100.

The maximum fee is 100000. The college provides many scholarships like Financial assistance which help the student the most. The placement societies of the college help them to get the job and then get placed in the reputed organization. The students are placed in a white hater., RBS, Skillarena, and collegedunia. The stipend they get is Rs.25000.

Now, talking about the infrastructure, there are many things like one library, one auditorium, canteen, two computer labs, gym, GD/PI rooms, and sports rooms and all of them are well maintained and air-conditioned. The library has a wide range of books which is very helpful and knowledgeable and it is also well maintained and air-conditioned. The classrooms are also well maintained and air conditioner and have one projector and smartboard. Now talking about the fest, the college conduct ZEST which is a major part of JIMS, and also conducts fest related to marketing and tech. JIMS has many sports teams and is managed by the sports society of the college. There are many other societies related to other fields like marketing, arts, debating, and retract which conducts various social activities.
