Remarks

PSG Institute of Technology is one of the best and renowned management institutes which is very popular in South India. The institute has well versed faculty, affordable fee structure, challenging curriculum, healthy competition, practical learning experience, collaborations and partnerships, etc. My admission for the MBA programme was conducted based on the TANCET followed by counselling. Also, the institute conducts TANCA counselling

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is clear and well designed on the basis of the updated trends, challenges, demands, requirements of the management & marketing fields. The faculty members are extremely knowledgeable and are very interactive & supportive. They provide excellent coaching and training to the students. Also, more importance is given to practical learning experience.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 70610 per year

Internships Opportunities

The institute also conducts summer placements drive where the students are hired for internships with handsome stipends. It is mandatory for all the students to grab internship offers and work as interns for 8 weeks or more.

Placement Experience

The institute has a separate placement cell which helps the students to groom and become more professional and responsible. The institute records 100% success in the campus placements drive wherein top recruiters are invited to hire the students. Majority of the students get placed under reputed organizations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The estimated cost of a 2 year MBA program is approximately around INR 8 lakhs. However, the students can also apply for loans offered by the Institute through banks like SBI, HDFC Bank, Central Bank. This amount does not include accommodation charges, travel, and any incidental expenses. There are wide range of scholarships and financial assistance.

Campus Life

PSGIM Coimbatore is located at lush green environment and is well-equipped with various facilities to enrich the students with knowledge like providing 24X7 access to Internet, access to digital library, computer center, finance centre, recreation centre, sports ground, auditorium, seminar halls, etc. The college also provides a 24X7 medical care facility provided by PSG Hospitals.

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

The eligibility cut -off should be more than 197. If it is management more than 190 is sufficient for reservation people. The overall admission process was quite good with a good cutoff.
