Remarks
As we all know, admission to the north campus is itself is a big task. I was also really keen to get into one of the colleges on the north campus and I got to honour of studying in Daulat Ram. So the cut-off was not that high for my program and I also had the quota. Although I had the minimum marks required by the campus the competition was still high. I was lucky enough to get myself a seat here. They basically check your 12th grade marks so you need to ace your board exams.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in Sanskrit because I could understand the subject properly from the beginning so I ended up choosing the course keeping in mind that one day I might get the chance to teach other students in this domain only. The teachers are really supportive. They have a really efficient way of teaching which gets better and better once you get the hang of their style.
Placement Experience
You will get to seat in placements during your third year of college. You need to clear the minimum criteria set by the companies which are almost 50% for most of them. Although it is difficult for Sanskrit Hons students to get placed as most companies come to hire from different programs like Bsc, eng Hons and etc. But you get a good exposure meanwhile. You can always do your masters as well and be a lecturer somewhere.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't find the fees that high at all. I paid my own tuition fees. I was teaching students in Sanskrit during that time. You can easily earn and pay for your own fees. But in case you need any financial assistance, admin block will help you throughout and you might need to give some of the documents and you are good to go.
Campus Life
So every year 'Manjari' is organized which is the cultural fest of the college. Students from different societies add their element in the fest and organize quite unique events for the people to participate. Classrooms are quite spacious. You can visit the canteen whenever you feel like it. You can participate in different clubs like Arts, sports, music and lot more.
