Remarks

The college is very good in my opinion i would love to suggest people to the college.

Entrance Preview

No entrance exams are taken for B.Com but I gave WBJEE in the year 2016 for medicals since I was not able to crack WBJEE I chose B.Com as my backup.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is quite good as per my view because i am quite new to the thing but as I have pursued the course I am beginning to realize that there is not much in B.Com i have to think of something else other than B.Com like MBA in the near future so as to excel in life.

Internships Opportunities

No I don't think the college provides internship or something like that yes but it do provide placement in good companies this is by far am aware of in this matter.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of the college is quite good recently I had a chat with a senior a pass out exactly according to him he got a placement of 12 lacs per year in a reputed company actually the whole fund of placement depends on your results the more good you score better is your salary it also depends upon the type of stream you choose.

College Events

5

Actually I am quite lucky to be in a college which celebrates each and every day there are more than 12 to 13 events in a month we can avail various club in the college premises and each Club usually have their own events so we never run out of entertainment in the college plus we do have an annual function.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Me being a non gujarati finds the college a little expensive 36000 yearly that too we are not bound to go to the college as there is no such need for the attendance its not compulsory so it pains to give such a huge amount yearly but for the Gujarati's its only 6000 per year good for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is nothing called as loan provided by my college but the college since being Gujarati in origin provides up to 90% scholarship to the Gujarati people it also provides around 70 to 80% scholarship students who got more than 90% marks in the 12th board.

Campus Life

5

The college is very good in gender equality as told earlier Ambiance provided there is very nice for the betterment of the student as well as a faculty members there is no such thing as racism or gender inequality followed in the college and speaking of politics the college is out of reach of it.

Hostel Facilities

5

As I live here in Kolkata itself so there is no need for me to avail hostel or mess services but I got some friends who live outside Kolkata and have come just to study in the college they have to avail the mess and hostel services near by talking to them I came to know that the pg they live in is quite affordable and the food is also of good quality.

Alumni/Alumna

As such I have never met any seniors of my college because the most thing I love about college is that attendance has never been a hindrance for students in the college.

Exam Structure

For B.Com exams are twice in a year taken by the college mid sem and selection before the Calcutta University takes the final paper so we are never stuck in an hectic schedule but if someone is doing another course along with B.Com he might be facing trouble as he has to take tuition's a lot overall for my stream the schedule is not at all hectic Rather its chilled out.

Admission

My admission was a bit late i took my admission in late august as I was waiting for my WBJEE results which I couldn't crack so I had to go to college many times for the admission finally they decide to take me in after getting a valid reason for my late admissions. The normal procedures was completed within 2 days.

Faculty

4

The faculty members seems quite interested in teaching the students they never get bored or irritated by answering any doubt of the students even if you call them during night they are happy to answer any doubts even the dean of the college is happy to help whenever required which is really very helpful to us.

Placements are given. But not what students dreamed of. Everyone gets opportunity to sit on interview and get placed. To perform good in interview our university has included boot camps in our routine which helps in improving our interview skills. Students in their last year get offers for jobs from university but students are not getting job offers as they excepted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen B.A.LLB(Hons.) because I want to have knowledge of law because laws form the basis of society. Moreover, I had an Arts Background therefore, it was a good combination for me to explore and go according to my desired path of career. The count of faculty members of IILS is an approximation of 20-30 teachers and the students each semester is near about 70-100. The teachers are truly well versed in their respective subjects and they're immensely knowledgeable and friendly, they try hard to make us understand in the easiest manner. But the only problem is that the faculties are not permanent, it keeps on changing. The term examinations were always on time except for the lockdown time but this was also managed smoothly within time. In order to know the difficulties I would share a fact and i.e., when I took admission in my Institute there was a total number of 140 students in my semester but no sooner than the first exam held half of them failed and now we're 70 of us.
