I am Satisfied with the overall Experience of IIM Ahmedabad Placements were Excellent.IIM A has cluster system, almost 40% of batch I guess had offers by the end of cluster , including PPOs and lateral offers. 100% sutudent got placed . They are helpfull , qualified and knowledge . The average quality is good. The minimum requirement of being a professor at an IIM. There is a VAT test (written ability test) instead of GD where they will give a topic to write in 15 to 20 minutes. They give generic topics in VAT, whatever currently happening and that totally depends on which field you are choosing to study. It is the best college across India for Management. The admission is a two-staged procedure, where the first one has to take the CAT examination, followed by shortlisting given as per the cluster and then AWT-PI. The college gives a lot of importance to diversity, as it enhances the discussion in the class. They have divided all the undergrad degree into 6 clusters, and accordingly gives shortlist calls (Details are available on the website) with respect to learning, the college follows a case based approach that enables the student to actually apply the concepts we learn. The class is divided into groups of 5/6 students who have to study together in that term, hence we have already discussed the case once before we come to class.
