Internships at Pillai's

I applied to VJTI, KJ Somaiya, Vidyalankar, and then last Pillai college of engineering new Panvel to which I got admission. There's a quota in college but the seat allotted to me was through the general quota. Admission criteria are very simple here we just have to contact the college as we get our results of CET after going to college the administrators enrol us after paying the particular amount of fees. The cutoff was a bit too high for this college in 2020 min percentile required for getting CS here was 80 percentile. after getting the results I went to college for enrolling I paid fees got admission there and the college gave me a piece of brief information about them, faculty, principal, etc they are also given a college tour.

I've chosen CS because earlier I was doing coding to which I am very fond of also the market's inclination towards software technology drew me to opt. About the faculty-student ratio, there's is enough number of teachers in this college it's like a 1:40 ratio. The faculty is well qualified also having PhD holders, teaching methods are impressive they are always eager to teach and solve doubts. We are having 2 internal exams before every sem exam such that 4 internal exams each year. Internal assessment which is internal exams are easy to pass and sem paper hence comes from Mumbai university which is in the range from moderate to tough level.

The students are encouraged to actively look for and do internships from various platforms like Internshala, PCE training, and placement department 91springdurb Turbe, CIBA Vashi, linkedin.com, naukari.com, 1000Staurtups.com. I am doing an internship at Internshala right now. Their upcoming projects are about entrepreneurship and supporting students to go out do internships etc.

After 3rd-year students are eligible for placements companies began to come and you will be selected according to your GPA. TCS Wipro Infosys etc companies approach this college. 60% to 70% of students get placed. I want to do further studies after my degree.

4year course fees are 4.25 lakh for BTech here and scholarships are provided by the Maharashtra govt on the website MAHADBT. 4.25 lakh, we have to pay in instalments like 25000 at the time of admission and 1 lack before end sem same for each year. For various scholarships, you can opt-in to the MAHADBT form for fee assistance, etc.

The annual fest is ALLEGRIA here conducted each year. All the books are available here in the library we can issue them after getting the id card of our name. Projectors are there in some classes. 1 football ground 1 basketball court and 1 gymkhana is there in which we can play badminton table tennis and do gym. There are various social group clubs run by students in the college one of which is the CSI PCE club for CS students.
