The entrance exam is state conducted JEE. Heard about the good placement record .but the reality is something very different from the expectation. An average college where student's money is just splurged on infrastructure development rather than quality education.

We used to toke class notes which are dictated from the faculty himself.Apart from that a library was also available in the college premise.The course curriculum was of 4 years which comprise of 44 subjects ,8 semesters and 24 internal .

At the time of joining the college you are being told that you will be given some paid internship at some renowned PSU but at the end they will do nothing .So It will be farce to tell about the internship.

This is just a important criteria to join any engineering colleges in India .We were also told that we will be provided world class renowned company .But the grim reality is that except some IT company no one visits this college. If you are core company aspirant than you have made a blunder by joining this college because the most unqualified department of this college is Training and Placement which just warn you if you will demand for core placement.

Events were conducted like SSEPL training program.Apart from that Techfest were organised in the college which has no learning perspective rather than merrymaking and time pass.Innumerable strikes and sine die were happened due to clash between Bihari and Odia and sometime between Marine engineers and others which was actively participated b all students.

Fees structure was 80000 per year.During the counselling time you need to pay 25000 per registration for university.And apart from that one need to pay extra 25000 for the future training program which will be conducted by a institute called SSEPL which the subsidiary of CVRAMAN group.

Scholarship was not given by the college but by the university. So loan facility and scholarship were given by the state government or university.

There is no alumni network. Even if you want some access about the passed out students also then also you have to get disheartened .

Exam structure was according to the BPUT prescribed criteria.Means in a year one need to face two semester which fees was separate from the college course fees.Therefore in four year one need to face 8 semester. And internals and practicals were conducted by this college management.

My counselling happened in a Kharavela hotel which was organised by the BPUT personnel. Where lakhs of student had just compromised about their career by looking at the classy and faulty admission browser of colleges. Which are made by the political leader and plutocrat of Bhubaneshwar .

This is the biggest demerit of this college which provide you a just B.tech passed out student as engineering professor. Some faculty are pursuing M.tech in that college which teaching student was their part time job. Accessibility of the good faculty was very difficult because there are very few good faculty in that college.
