Remarks

It was a government university, better than Delhi University in terms of infrastructure and faculty and course. Provided various opportunities as ours was the first batch.We were given the freedom to form societies and clubs and were given a large portion of the society event decisions to make with a little faculty/coordinator support

Course Curriculum Overview

The standard course required for a graduate was satisfied in my university. Yes, we were provided industrial exposure in the form of internships and competitions. Dr Ratnam Mishra, Mr Puneet Arora, Ms Shreya Malhotra, Ms Sanchita Joshi were few of the faculties which were amazing.

Genpact, PlanetSpark, Java to name a few of the companies visited the campus. Placement process is totally coordinated by the students and the special assigned faculty acting as the placement coordinators. Smooth and quick responses to queries and doubts.

College Events

Campus life was fun and since being the first batch, we made all the first moves in starting the annual fest, the annual garba night, the Diwali mela, the Independence and Republic day celebrations. Also, monthly society events for students as well as teachers.

Table tennis, activity room, badminton court, and girls common room were provided. Fully air conditioned. A huge library with lots of course books and informative magazines and daily newspapers is present.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.

A vibrant college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

as been from the science background I have deep interest in maths already, and I want to continue my passion for it. The proves the critical thinking the imaginary parts and the applications of mathematics. We see every day it motivates to think about these theorems. The curriculum of course is very good, but due to NEP, we have to study subjects like Hindi in our AEC which is very irrelevant to the curriculum and waste our four hours weekly in mathematics, we mainly deal in proof and theorem. There are very less real word applications that are being taught here. There are various areas for improvement like we can adapt the course or the curriculum.in universities like IITs,Cambridge Oxford and other big universities so that the placement and internship percentage can get improved in our college

When I had applied for JAC, I had option of NSUT or IIIT Delhi, but I had chosen this, as DTU has one of the oldest legacies, alumni network and college culture and all. DTU - experience

Distance to my house - this was the nearest to where i lived.
