Become the one who feeds

The admission process was smooth and well organised. We had to apply online via website for admission, then the counselling was done in college premises, regarding the completion part we were briefed about everything and then document submission.

I choose the course because it is something that always inspired me as well as it also my family background. Faculties are well experienced and very much approachable with a friendly nature. Teaching methods are average of most of the facilities, but the college also has extra wonderful teachers with their unique teaching styles. Exams were on time and passing them depends on hardwork.

In the college, some internships are offered by the institute and mostly are self-arranged which are generally in the domains related to Agriculture, Research and Development, Food Processing, etc. Some companies do offer stipend while others hire only on the perks of Certificates. In the internship, the students are generally given projects to complete which may be related to research work, practical analysis, etc.

In the final semester, the students are eligible to sit for placements and attend interviews which are conducted by various companies varying from department to department. Particularly in my department, we have companies like IFFCO Kissan Sanchar, BKT Weather system, etc. which generally offer jobs between three to five lakh annual packages. Many of the students who sit for placement are hired and I also look for the same.

The fees are a bit high when compared to other similar universities. The scholarship is also provided which is on the basis of performance in academics, sports, etc Job placement is on average basis the course.

The university organizes various fests and competitions all year long which attracts a number of students to actively participate and enjoy college life while studying and researching all the books and hundreds of journals available in the Library. The campus is also well equipped with numerous sports and extracurricular activities ranging from Swiming pool to shooting ranges. There are general clubs and committees as well, both at the institutional as well as university-level which organize various events and keep everyone's life fun and enjoyable.
