Remarks
I applied for ILS Law College, but couldn't make it to the allotted list. I haven't availed any quota. Admission criteria for the course are 12th or equivalent passed with a 65% score. The admission process was tedious as CET kept postponing the dates, but received nothing but cooperation and help from the college. The college itself is good. The classes 10/10 The teachers have done everything they could and more to help us in understanding the concepts. They have learnt to use the Teams app excellently and provided reading materials and notes. The peers: 9/10 The peers are great. Not everyone is fluent in English or Marathi, but they try to accommodate everyone and don't let anyone feel left alone. Sometimes language barriers can cause frictions, but it is resolved quickly. Extracurricular activities: Even during Covid, almost all extracurricular activities are conducted and they are conducted with such enthusiasm.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course itself is easier but for science or commerce students, the sudden shift may affect their marks for the first term. The faculty and student ratio doesn't affect us in a pandemic. The teaching method of faculty is excellent as they try to make sessions interactive and happening. The term exams are not timely but it isn't something that college can control.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees have remained the same. I haven't applied for any financial assistance. The OMS student is facing unfair fees in every college, sadly this one is not an exception. However, teachers post about relevant scholarships, etc on the group.
Campus Life
The Indradhanush and Dum festival was conducted online and was excellent and innovative. The college has provided access to manopatra and will provide access to other online resources. Many clubs are run by students. Every club conducts activities in which participation is expected. The sessions are amazing and enjoyable.
