SCMHRD, Pune is located at Hinjewadi Phase 2. It is a good choice, given the fact it is the youngest B-school to achieve a lot of accolades in a short span of 20–23 years. The curriculum, events, committees, placements, B-school as well as industry competition - the students have outshined everywhere. There are even distinguished alumni in tops positions across industries. You have to appear for snap exams and clear the cutoff. The minimum cutoff for SCMHRD is 98 %tile. After clearing the cutoff, you have to face GDPI and WAT. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of your overall performance.

The flagship programme offered at SCMHRD is a 2 Year full-time MBA spread over 4 semesters. The specializations include Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, Operations & Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. MBA - Infrastructure Development and Management is one of the specialized programs offered at SCMRHD exhaustively designed to deal with various issues and challenges in the development of infrastructure in India. MBA in Business Analytics gives students corporate exposure to the practice of Business Analytics Methods. The course is designed under the guidance of industry experts working with Analytics and Big Data and includes a solid foundation of programming in R and Python along with data visualization tools like Tableau. Apart from these courses, SCMHRD also offers a specially designed 30 months MBA Executive program for working professionals. SCMHRD has a strong faculty base that includes both permanent and visiting faculties having strong expertise in their subject matter.

The flagship programme of 2 Year full-time MBA has a fee of approximately 21.5 lacs including mess and hostel fees. The MBA Business Analytics program has a fee of approximately 17 lacs including mess and hostel fees. The MBA IDM program has a fee of approximately 14.8 lacs. The fees are slightly on the higher side but the return on investment is worth it. A scholarship is provided to the brightest students that make it to SCMHRD Pune (even before the college starts!), and then need-based as well skill-based scholarships are awarded during the first semester. There are scholarship opportunities for people from reserved categories, lower-income groups and merit-based scholarships for the girl child, toppers and economically backward category. The campus and all hostels are fully enabled with Wi-Fi. The program is residential and so all the facilities are available at Hostel including attached bathrooms and room cleaning service. The Wi-Fi-enabled library provides access to more than 24000 books, about 2000 audio and video CDs, DVDs, International and National business periodicals in diverse areas of Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship and Management. Apart from these, various database access like EBSCO, Euromonitor, Bloomberg terminal Access etc., are provided to the students for research purposes. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned with a capacity to hold 300 people for various events and guest lectures. The cafeteria facilities are good and the meal is provided three times a day. The campus includes a Nescafe outlet and a juice shop. Apart from these, the campus also includes a well-equipped gymnasium, swimming pool, a yoga centre and a sports arena to play table tennis, cricket, basketball, carrom, badminton etc.

Round 1: Technical WAT (total duration :1 hour): statistics, matrices, programming pseudo-codes, permutations and combinations, probability (the syllabus is given on their website). 2nd WAT- 2 pictures were given, required to connect both the pictures and write a paragraph in not more than 120 words and with a suitable topic. Round 2: Group Discussion and Group Exercise. A general topic was given for GD. For GE, as a group, we had to discuss and reach a conclusion about a given scenario. Round 3: Personal Interview: (Behavioral + Technical + Current affairs).
