PSIT is for Excellence

I haven't applied directly to any colleges. I have given the UPTU exam and through counselling i took admission in PSIT.I have opted PSIT as first prefer college because of its academic results, placements and it is among the top 10 private colleges in North India. For non UPTU aspirants, the admission criteria was 60% in 10th and 12th with the minimum age of 17 yrs.

-I have choosen Mechanical Engineering because I wanted to be Mechanical Engineer and PSIT provide well organised and updated curriculum in every course. The curriculum for all courses is very well organised. -The Faculty student ratio is quite good because there is atleast 2 faculty for per subject and for class size of 60 its enough. -Curriculum is updated according to the recent trends and development. -The professors are very much experienced and qualified & also very supportive and helpful.Faculties are well educated and have deep knowledge about the subject they teach as well as they know very much about other subjects. The teaching method of faculties are very well it will be easily understood. -The term Exams is of medium level difficulty so that student can score more.The internal marks are purely based on the performance of the students in the class test exams,assignments and pre-university exams.

Internship opportunities online available in our college. the faculties provided us online forms for internships or you can apply by your own from outside. The projects is based on the internship which we were done either by online or offline internship.

-From the 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. -There are a lot of companies visited in our college like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, InfyTQ, VA tech wabag, Wipro and many more. -The highest package is 26 LPA -The requirement of percentage criteria for getting placement is 60% in most of the companies. -My plans after getting the degree is for higher studies.

-The fee hike isn't much.The fees were same for all years i have studied in PSIT. -The scholarship is under the UP scholarship and management reminds students whenever scholarship forms are open every year. - I haven't applied for placement since i was planning to go for higher studies, but my colleague got job of an average of 3.6 LPA

-The Annual fest in PSIT is known as the IGNITIA. The IGNITIA is of 2 days,day 1 consist of all the tech events and day 2 is for cultural events. It generally held during the month of feb/march. -The books and journals in library are up to date and you can find most of the books/journals in there. -The classroom of PSIT are clean and centralised AC. There is proper ventilation and have smart classes in each classroom. -Sports activities are held every year in between different branches and also encourage to participate with other colleges. -PSIT has approx 17 to 18 clubs and the major one is the UTTHAN club where student teaches free of cost to poor children who can't afford to join schools.
