Kartik Dastanbhai Chaudhari's Review On L.D. College Of Engineering - [LDCE], Ahmedabad

I had a good remark about college. "LDCE passed out" that label is precious in Gujarat state and i earned it.

For admission in Master i had cleared PGCET in which i scored 50 percent. This College is the best college in Gujarat so i want to do masters here only.

Our College had the good infrastructure with necessary lab space,lab equipment for every engineering branch. our course structure also focus on research as in last year we have to make a project on something new which is not easily available in market or the technology which we have to focus for better future.

Internship was not compulsory but if u are willing to take that in any industry the college will promote you for that. My experience of doing Masters at LDCE was awesome.

Placements of LDCE is one of the best in whole Gujarat region. Many companies like Tata,AMW,Mahindra& Mahindra came for placement. Packeges of companies varies from 2.5 lakh to 7 lakhs. 15-20% of students are selected during campus interview. figure can be hire but many of us want academic career rather than industrial.

There was technical as well as cultural festivals are organised frequently. in technical festival there was competitions like robo war, robo soccor and many more. In cultural festival there was dancing,singing, play. LAA garba during navratri was famous in ahmedabad.

Fees was feasible as it is government college. Tution fees of college was around 2000 Rs per year and exam fees was around 1500 per semester which is nominal if we compare fees to other engineering institutes which is expensive as there fees was around 50000Rs or more.

Scholarship from college was not available but as per reservation criteria we got a scholarship from University Grant commission.

Campus life in LDCE was my golden days of life.There was Playground ,library,cafe,canteen everything necesarry for student life. gender ratio was mostly equal. as it is in centre of gujarat state girls are also interested to study in that college. DJ night, LAA garba are the cutural events everyone enjoyed in LDCE.

As hostel seats are not available for PG students we have to stay out of college campus on rent. we had lived in a flat,rental of which was around 10000Rs but as we are 5 persons who share the house so average rental per person was around 2000Rs. But we eat at hostel mess food of which was good and cheap also.

Alumni network is also good. In Various sectors engineers from LDCE is working so if u say i am from LDCE most of the people had any relative or friend who had passed out from there. seniors are very helpful they also teach u if u are weak in any subject.

there was one internal and one external exam its not like chilled out type as there are more labs u have to attend to gain better knowledge due to the lab i came to know that how to start research, why it is necessary,in which area i can improve etc.

First of all i had to fill up the form at ACPC office ahmedabad.then they declare the examination date. i had cleared that exam then for admission process counselling was organised at ACPC office.i have to choose a branch and college there. Thats How i got admission in M.E.

Faculties of LDCE ahmedabad is one of the best faculties available in engineering in Gujarat state with a wide knowledge of engineering with experience of industries. They teach you everything in that manner everyone can understand. They show us the way how you have to work and take the technology to the new level.
