Remarks
In order to get admission, you need to give an entrance exam first which is called IPU CET. You will find the relevant details on the website as well. My rank was around 20k so I had the choice to choose among few IPU affiliated colleges like Surajmal, HMR, DITE, ASET, and few others. I chose this college simply because of its placement rate. The process is quite simple. If you have a decent rank then you would get the college in online counseling. If not, then IPU arranges a spot round as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The professors are highly educated and some of them are actually pursuing Ph.D. while teaching at the same time. You can always count on your mentors and they will guide you properly. The curriculum is set more theoretically than practically. It is the only drawback I can see here. Other than that, you can always go beyond classes because teaching doesn't stay in between the 4 walls. It is beyond that.
Placement Experience
The Placements are the most alluring thing in this college. Since it has an association with Amity Noida, we get to sit in their placements as well and it is heaven in the literal sense. You will get to sit in the placements every day and I mean it. Orange, Accenture, TCS, and a lot more companies do come to the campus to recruit. But you need to have at least 65% above to be eligible for the placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
So the overall fees for four years are approx 3.5l. It was 3.2l for the previous batch. The scholarships are given to special students who can show they are worth it. You can also get financial assistance in case if you show them that you are in actual need.
Campus Life
The campus organizes the tech and cultural fest every year in February which is called 'Amitech'. There is a library where you can only get technical-related books. Although i believe there should be other genre books as well since your personality development is equally important while pursuing Engineering skills. You can also take part in different clubs and activities. I was a part of Wordsworth society and I can say that was the best decision ever.
