Remarks

I got admission to the college through the 12th percentage merit list. you can also get admission by appearing in the exam conducted by the university called UPESAT, also you can get admission on the basics of JEE mains score and after the counseling students will have the list for the courses they can opt for and are available for them. The initial step is the interested candidate has to register themselves online on the official website of the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As the university has one of the greatest placements throughout the country in the petroleum field so I opted for the following course. The Teacher to student ratio is 9:1; teachers are helpful for academics as well as professional things. Most of the facility holds the degree of the doctorate in their field and also has great work experiences in their field. Exams are conducted two times in a semester and the rest are internals which is conducted throughout the semester. If students focus on what teachers teach in classes and can easily pass the semester examinations.

Fees and Financial Aid

Taking about fee structure, the fee for a semester is approximately less than 2 lakh INR and for a year it is around 3 lakh and 60 thousand INR for approximately every course. Other charges like security charges, bus charges are not included in this amount. Also, you can opt for a hostel off-campus as well as on-campus. Students can get scholarships on the basics of semester scores, and yearly CGPA. There are no jobs available on campus but many companies come for placements, talking students to work with them who are eligible and satisfy the criteria.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest which is held by the university is 'URJA' in which all the university from both the campus take part, Also there are small events like sports events and many more conducted by the university. Talking about clubs; there are many clubs for all the branches which conduct their won small events and encourage students to take part in them for their skill development as well as for fun. Also, each Wednesday is 'WOW WEDNESDAY" where extra circular activities are conducted by students, fro eg dance, painting exhibition, etc. Students can easily access the books from the liberty and can issue books with the help of their identity card for free and have to return after a duration of time. University liberty has different sections where students can sit and study without issuing the books if the person doesn't want to issue one.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies. If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
