Remarks
I have applied to the JSSATEN using my UPSEE rank. The fees are around 1.45 lac. The minimum rank for electrical is around 7000. I have simply gone to the college with my documents and mark sheets and the admission process is of about 30-40 min only.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is very helpful to me. They are very cooperative. The teacher to student ratio in class is 1:60 and in the lab is about 1:12. The faculty has their own fields of qualification and specialization. There is 3 internals out of which 2 are compulsory.
Internships Opportunities
There are internships provided by companies with a stipend and they are good for the student to get experience in fieldwork. Students have to do a project or an internship in their 4 year BTech course.
Placement Experience
The student can take placement exams from 6th semester. There are offcampus companies that offered placements in the electrical branch. But there are few in campus placements for the Electrical branch. The percentage of placement is about 40-60% by the companies ( in campus and offcampus both)
Fees and Financial Aid
You can apply for the UP scholarship program. The fees are the same from 2018. The first year BTech course fees are 142000, the second year fees are 126000, 3rd and 4th year fees are 118000. There is an internship provided by startups on the campus.
Campus Life
The annual fest name is zealicon. It is very cool and awesome. It is conducted in March. The library has all the latest edition of books and journals. The classroom has a very well managed infrastructure. The college is full of greenery, game courts and a football playground. There are many college clubs for the EE branch like IEEE, spade, SEED, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is almost good. The mess food is up to the quality. The hostel fees are about 93000 rs in which maintenance charge, electricity fees, room charge, mess fee, security fees all are included. The campus location is very good as there is a lot of companies offices are nearby the JSSATEN campus.
