So I applied for the BBA course 2019-22, and the admission criteria were pretty simple. There was no interview round as such. While applying online, you have to upload your SOP video and then you'll receive an email that you've been approved for admission. There are some scholarship criteria as well. I received 25% of the scholarship initially based on my 12th percentage. Counselling day/orientation day was pretty informative. They make you aware of the rules and regulations, exam patterns, hostel facilities etc about the college.

I wanted to do BBA so I chose this course. Plus the course fees were pretty cheap. Faculties are great but sometimes there's a shortage of faculties. Most of the faculties are experienced ones and they handle the students in a very disciplined way. Their method of teaching is absolutely satisfactory. No complaints. Mid-sem exams are easy to moderate papers but end sem exams are moderate to difficult. There are internal assessments as well such as viva, presentations, speaking skills etc which helps in the overall development of a student pursuing the course.

We were given a choice to either fetch an internship by ourselves or the CRC will provide us. So many students found internships on their own through contacts and all but many didn't get any internships. Also because of the pandemic situation, it became all the more difficult to search for internships. College, for our course, brought very few companies for internships and many students had complaints regarding those internships too. But, I found my internship on my own with the help of some contacts. But other students suffered a lot.

For a 3 year course- 5th or 6th sem students are eligible for placements and 4 years course- 7th and 8th sem students are eligible to sit in placements. Engineering batches get many good placements compared to BBA/BCOM. But the average package for BBA/BCOM is 5-7 lakhs, I guess. Since my placement hasn't started I've less idea. But when I joined the college, one of the senior received a 10 lakh package in BA economics. So I have high hopes too. My plans after getting the degree would be that I'll go for MBA preparations or else if I'm lucky enough to get placement then I'll work for 1-2 years and then go for MBA. Because in some MBA colleges, experience counts too.

Fees is pretty decent. Its affordable and not at all expensive. In the first year I only paid 30000 each sem since I received scholarship. In the second year I paid 38000, because I received scholarship again. And in third year its around 50000. So it's pretty cheap compared to other private colleges. However if you think you cannot pay the fees in one go, then there's an instalment system of payment too. Since I'm at the start of my third year now, I haven't received any jobs. However we were asked to do internships compulsorily and college couldn't bring that many internships for BBA, BCOM students so it was a pretty troublesome situation for all of us since the pandemic had already scrapped off many opportunities, and the only option left was that of work from home. But we managed. It wasn't the university's fault since the pandemic situation was tough for all of us. There are decent placements, as per my assumption and what I've heard from seniors.

There's one annual fest in February, known as AMISPARK, wherein there are numerous events, games and activities such as dance, drama, music, treasure hunt, mystery games, Robo race and so on. Every year there's a different type of events in the fest. Then there's a sports fest known as SANGATHAN in October, where different types of sports competitions are held inside the campus among the students of different departments. The library is very beautiful, and you can find books related to every subject. The classroom has a projector and a whiteboard and it's very comfortable since the academic block is fully air conditioned. There are cameras in each corridor. There's a finance club, which was inaugurated this year only. NSS club is also there. And other than that, there are very few clubs.

Hostel facilities are excellent. However, you'll feel a bit bored after your classes since you don't have the option to go outside. If you want to go outside, you'll require a day out/night out pass. The hostel is a bit more strict for girls compared to boys. But there are many festival celebrations and DJ nights held. So you'll enjoy it. Food is good compared to other colleges. They keep on changing the menu every month so that we don't get bored eating the same meal every day for months. There's an amazing, well equipped gym and a table tennis room, badminton court, basketball court etc. Hostel rooms and washrooms were cleaned every day by the maids. Hostel premises are excellently maintained. The registration process was easy for the hostel. But the only thing is you'll require affidavits etc. which is a compulsory part of the registration process. It's affordable. 55000 per year and 3000 for mess fees per month.
