St. Thomas college Bhilai (review)

The course is tought very well , every faculty se experienced so every course is tought well ! As they conduct a group activity round for our bba students specially on saturdays , it surely helps us to increase and improve our talking and communication skills ,

They provide various kind of internship , such as in companies like Bajaj, and the Bhilai steel plant !! Students are offered internships on there last year of college , which makes their experiences grow ! They took us to industrial visits in , Bhilai steel plant , which one of the Asias biggest steel plant and it was a very great experience

Placements are provided after both UG courses and PG courses but as the geographic factors affect these things , sometimes they lack to give better placements after UG courses , which should be improved

They take 30000 per semesters , and we have in total 6 semesters , which evaluates 90000 for all three years ! Other than that we have library book issuing charge ?200 , charges for filling up the exam form 1300/- and nothing else

My over all experience with this college was good , as the faculty was supportive , there's an anti ragging squad in the college which make sures no one gets bullied here , teachers are experienced and teach well , to every students , fee structure is affordable as compared to other colleges , campus isn't big but , it's kinda give old aesthetic vibes! Which was fascinating for me !

As i said campus is small but the faculty has a big heart , they make sure every student gets , every opportunity , teaches well , doesn't bias between students , as compared to other colleges in here Bhilai Chhattisgarh! Our college has a good profile , as compared to others

The faculty to student ratio is around 20:80 , but they are experienced and can control any classs ! They have a sensitive approach while teaching , straight to the point teaching , no unnecessary talks ! The faculty of MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT is too good ! Our HOD madam SR ABRAHAM is very cooperative ! As im in BBA exams are conducted in semester format . One exam has marking of 90 marks , and you need to get 36 marks to pass

Yes , I've been into group discussion four to five times , they're conducted very we'll , I've given 6-7 times presentation too , in our group activities which is conducted on every Saturday ! In our college , it's a specialised activity or program for management department students particulary ! We've been interviewed too

Our college doesn't have , boys hostels but surely have girls hostels , which is a safe and secure hostel for girls , and boys can live outside the college , there are various flats and PGs available, for boys and girls both ! The college has a library have numbers of books , it has a very great collection , ! Night life around the college is kinda creepy , as the area is kinda shady but people are good , so nothing to worry about
