Remarks

I applied for SARAF. But I chose Vivek college of commerce because it is near me and I am not capable of traveling alone. No, I haven't availed any quota my percentage was enough to get this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Accounts, so I chose this Course as it says it is a specialization in accounting and finance. There were 72 students in our class. The teaching faculty were qualified with professional degrees. The exams were in 6 months.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No internships are offered in our college. But in our last semester, we had a research project for 100 marks as a project. Maybe in the future, they provide students internships. If no internship is offered the question of stipend doesnt comes.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to participate in campus placements in 3rd year. Companies like Andromeda, Kotak bank Etc visit our college. The provide job offers for mostly back end , telecalling etc 5% of people get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were high in comparison with other courses. In our one-year fees, a B.com student can pass his 3 years. They can get graduate with our one year fees. No, I didn't get placed by the campus placement as i was not aware of it. The information was not circulated in college.

Campus Life

Various fests are celebrated but all students are not getting chance to participate. All old students are given priority. Books of our preferences are mostly not available. In winter it's good but they should install at least 1 AC as the class gets very hot as we are in the top floor.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Placement Experience:

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

I love it but not anymore.

I had applied to Thakur college at the 2nd preference and Vivek at 1st . Hopefully I did not want to travel more as i don't have the capability and capacity to do that ,so took admission here nearby that is on walk able distance. I did not get rejection I had merit in both colleges and i myself chose Vivek . Admission process is simple fill university form and collges form . evrything is online and no offline process so one can do at its comfort pace. Cutt off is not that high if you have scored more than 70 % then easily you can get admission here ....Read More

Everything is good. Washroom wll be hygiene and cleaned at each time. if you find washrooms unhygienic then that's for sure student's fault as all the time housekeeper won't look after for each students. I even like 4th Floor's Library, Terrace cum Canteen ( Later Canteen was on the ground floor only) I would request to renovate the college and to make it to look like a posh college like NM or Mithibai....Read More
