Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose BSCIT because once i graduated i can find jobs in any sector in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. If I would have taken data science specifically then i would have left with no alternative to explore more in the industry. Although the mumbai university curriculum is not that great out of 5 subjects only 4 will be used in future and 1 subject is always a waste . I will suggest include more technical subjects that help children gain a hands on experience that will make them corporate ready. Exams are held at Great pause and not in a rush so that is not a problem at all .

Fees and Financial Aid

Firstly,my fees was 24000 in first and second year, but i don't know this is my last year here they have increased the fees rate to 27000 from this year and for other courses too. I'm a engineering student so i have to compulsory pay library fees and lab fees ,but the library staff is not good at all . Fees is somewhere around 2k for both . Lab facility is good we have A/C . My batchmates who are minority or lower caste pay very less fees that is 4000 only . I'm from general category and we people suffer everywhere. We have a scholarship for girls only here but ther are certain conditions before applying,so i don't fit there as well .

Campus Life

5

We have a few events here for every department. IT department has its own event called CURIOSITY i participated last year it was fun. This takes place in January and most of the event's like YUG , IPL MAHOTSAV , Marathi vangmay natya mandal etc . Take place between december to January. There are a plenty of books available in the library and one more thing i love about library that it has computers for children and it is always full . We have a gymkhana so annual day takes place once a year and is must to go visit. Student's here run MIRAKI, E CELL,NSS DLLE etc .

Admission

I had applied to Thakur college at the 2nd preference and Vivek at 1st . Hopefully I did not want to travel more as i don't have the capability and capacity to do that ,so took admission here nearby that is on walk able distance. I did not get rejection I had merit in both colleges and i myself chose Vivek . Admission process is simple fill university form and collges form . evrything is online and no offline process so one can do at its comfort pace. Cutt off is not that high if you have scored more than 70 % then easily you can get admission here .

Faculty

5

Faculties here are excellent no doubt. The only thing I love about Vivek is their quality of teaching and methods they use . They are very friendly and maintain that thin line between students and faculty.I love how Maria ma'am and Dipti ma'am are with me all the time if I happen to find any difficulty when studying. Um i only talk to few faculties so I've never experienced a non liking factor there. We give 4 exams in a year that is unit sem and unit sem. 90% of the class passes although papers are not that easy but if studied and focused well on lectures one can easily score good marks.

Interview Experience

1

There are no placements here so i don't think answering anything is worth unless lying which i don't want to do . Since it says more characters are needed , I'll only say if you have a good network then only join otherwise you'll be jobless after graduating.

Night Life

1

Honestly there are no hangout spots here it's a small college, we don't have a gym where people can workout - and canteen food is very bad in taste no students eat at canteen. They prefer going outside the college and having something. Safety is top notch here it is a active area and you can stay here till 9pm like you'll feel all good . Students can get bus or rikshaw from walking a 1 min distance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

• As I don't have maths so I have choosen this course for medical way for the future educational content and lab work. • They prepare us very good their skills and they approach in the lab practical is so good. • One one improvement as from mine is that they doesn't have some practical equipment and machinery for the working so I would like to have that to get that practical knowledge and for that they teach us theoretical for that kinds of practical. • Average the frequency and time for exam preperation is good

“The BSc CS curriculum is fairly comprehensive and covers core subjects like programming, DBMS, OS, networking and practical labs. It stays relevant for basic IT careers, though updates are slow. Overall it gives a strong foundation but needs more modern industry-oriented topics.”

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

The course curriculum is very good. The syllabus of the course of relevant and also helps in preparing different entrance exams for masters. Also course offers wide variety of subjects so students can have exposure to different opportunities in the field. There are also field study visits so students can get their real world experience and exposure. The external exams are a little bit hectic as the take it into a streak. There is no gaps between the exams so it is a little hectic. Also some proffessors should provide study materials to students so it will be helpful .

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I thought that zoology is most interesting to learn and its have future job opportunity. So basically zoo student are like little dr or zoologist. It provides little bit of that syllabus while learning you feel like you are dr or expert in zoology which example we experience in our day to day life. They need to add more teachers and placement opportunity. After every one and half month there is exam.
