Life at GLA

I did not apply to any other colleges. I got a scholarship of 25000 per year if I score more than 8 CPI in semester exams. The minimum age for our program is 18. The candidates should have at least 60 % in class 12th.In the admission process first, we have to fill the form. Then provide all required documents such as 12th Marksheet,10th Marksheet, Admit Card, passing certificate, Character certificate.

I am interested in engineering for a long time. So I chose BTech as my career option. The faculty: student ratio:1:5.The faculty is highly qualified. And the teaching is also appreciable. In one year we have two semester exams. one is mid-term and the second is End-term. The difficulty level is normal. If you have knowledge of the subject you can easily pass the exam.

My first-year fee is 153000 Now it becomes 156000. There is a boom of 3000 per year in the fees. I of 25000 because of scoring more than 85% . Fees are not affordable for a middle-class student. The University should decrease the fees in the covid -19 situation. But they didn't do this.

The college has an abundance of student organizations.BLF, Quizzes, and many tech fests are held from time to time. There are 1000 books in our library. We can have any field book whichever we want is present in our library. The classroom is full Ac, Projector facility is also available. There are different clubs for every sport. If students want to join them they can apply for it and join them.CSI, Literario, E-cell is some of the examples of clubs, social groups run by students.

IN the Hostel room the things provided to us are - 1 chair,1 table,1 bed,1 almirah,1 fan. There is a mess time fixed.In morning 7:30 -9:00 in Afternoon 12:00-2:30 .In the evening 5:00-6:30. Dinner time is 7:00 - 9:00 pm. The hostel fees are 80000 per year including Room +Mess fees.
