Amazing Experience

The college experience is i can say average. Don't depend on others if you have plans to grow yourself without much support you are best for the college. You can't get support here with each and every but you can get a little if you need. Faculties are

I got admission on the base of GSHSEB exam board and JEE score. You need to have good score obviously, if you want to join government college. I wanted to work with freedom not just books assignment and school life but wanted to be creative and only government college was able to provide me because of liberty in study.

Most of the college faculties are good and well-experienced most of them are with phd with their specific subject and support by them to the students is also really good. Most of the students are happy with it. there is some problem like sometimes lower number of faculties or lectures, but it's okay.

There is no internship facility with government engineering college rajkot. You have to find yourself, if you wish. faculties can help you, but you have to compete on your own.

Placement is i can say average not more good or not bad. Some companies are invited to the college for placement. But the biggest thing is our alumni group, which shares all the opportunities of placement in various college with us. So we can reach that college, and take part in it in our college some companies from rajkot and some other city companies are invited by faculties. Most of them are local companies with average or bit lower package.

The main event of our college is brizingr which is organized every year by the students and faculties for 3 days. It's fantastic, i can say. We get participants from not only our city but from all gujarat colleges. hundreds of co-ordinators, grand planning and a much more fun. There is lower budget with events but still great planning to make the event as better as possible. Our college is also organizing some other events like gd, booktalk some competitions, festival celebrations and some more.

It's government college so nothing to talk about fees. Our fees is 1500 rs per semester. which is i can say nothing. Some more fees like exam fees, activities fees, gymkhana fees and some more. But overall it's more than cheaper.

No loan or scholarships but at now we are taking benefit of scholarship for sebc, sc, st students. The amount we get is directly deposited in bank account and it's more than our annual fees. So fees are paid from the scholarship and also some pocket-money.

No much more extracurricular activities, if i say truth. But they are working on it, and improving the system everyday. Some activies like expert lectures, workshops, competitions are organized by the college management. But some departments are highly active with activities and some are at zero overall average.

The hostel facility is average not more good and not more bad. The mess food facility is really good. The conditions of rooms is average. They are working on providing wi-fi in hostel, but need some time for it. But, again due to government hostel the fee

Having good experience with senior students. The biggest point is zero ragging at college. Most of the seniors are frankly also getting support from alumni network for placement. Thought alumni network is under progress, it need some time to grow well. But still great experience.

Exam structure is same as gtu. The exam system is a bit liberal no weekly or monthly exams mostly, just mid-sem and final and sometime viva.
