Remarks

The life of college was one of the best times of my life the crowd was good and the friends made were awesome.

Entrance Preview

I got admission through MHTCET and I scored 128. This was one of the best colleges for CHEMICAL ENGG course and had a good reputation for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is quite old as it comes under MUMBAI UNIVERSITY. The course needs to be upgraded soon and the things we learn have all become old and needs to be updated as per modern requirements. It should be more practical rather than theoretical.

Internships Opportunities

No my college does not provide any internship nor they grant leave if you want to do internship for a month or so. This needs to be improved.

Placement Experience

2

The placements compared to the top colleges in INDIA is quites weak. The percentage of students getting placed are also not high. The average package you get is around 3 LPA which is quite less as compared to the amount of fees we pay. Companies also come very less.

College Events

3

Many events occur in college. There is a cultural fest in month of march, then there is technical fest of every department. Then there are different days which are celebrated for whole week. There is sports week which occurs department wise. Almost whole week it is fun & masti.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure as compared to most engineering colleges in INDIA is high. People have to shed out almost 1 LPA just for fees and other expenses are different. The major portion of other expenses is Xerox & food. But if you are good at studies there are different scholarships that you get.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are different scholarships that are given by Mumbai university based on the performance of students. College does not provide any loan or scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is one of the best. Labs, playground etc are good and well equipped but could be improved and made awesome.a lot of investment is required to improve the standards. Conference room is below standard and needs improvement. The diversity of students are large and come from all over India.

Hostel Facilities

3

The mess standards are very weak and food quality is also very poor. It is noted that the boys hostel is very bad and the girls hostel is very good. The food in mess of hostel is pretty bad. The canteen of college on other had is quite good and pretty cheap.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni's are very helpful in terms of organizing fest and helping you with your studies and all the problems you have.

Exam Structure

Usually we had 2 mid terms & 1 final exam per semester. The mid terms were chilled out. Semester also was chilled out as we had almost 4 holidays between every exam and the semester stretched to almost a month. Sometimes it got boring but it was good as we had lot of time to do masti and also study.

Admission

The admission process was quite easy as it was online. After the list was announced you had to go to college and fill the form and fees to secure your seat. After that if you didn't want to take admission after the 2nd list is announced you could just cancel your registration.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of my college was good and could have been much better. I think they should also be appraised based on their performance and ratings from students. Also, test should be conducted for them also so that they also try and improve themselves.
