Remarks

Overall experience was good. But marking system wasn't good I must say. As cgpa of first two semester falls shorts, you will not be able to recover by time. I mean if your cgpa in first two semester is 5.2 , it will be difficult to cross 6.0 cgpa till end of course. If somebody's cgpa is beyond 8.0, his performance in upcoming semesters will not affect as much like poorer are getting poorer & richs don't get affected as much. At the end I will say our technical knowledge matters but marks matters a lot to be got selected in companies.

Entrance Preview

I did AIEEE Exam for Entrance & scored 48512 all India rank. Actually I took admission through reserve category BC. I got selected in first inter college counselling & opted for Mechanical Engineering of B.Tech.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure is good as compared to other colleges I must say. As mechanical engineering course has biggest workshops related to tools, RAC & welding. Also fully functional labs related to robotic programming actually kuka robotics, CNC Lab, fluid mechanics lab, Combustion engine lab, drafting software lab, C++ programming lab & some other labs.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college provides internship in corporate industries with good stipend. Generally stipend maximum goes to 8-9k per month. No of students getting selected was around 60 out of 156

Placement Experience

4.5

B.tech mechanical engineering course is top one of college till now. As the placement records are high with maximum no of students getting selected 89 out of 156 students. With maximum package of 6.5 lac for 16 students out of 89.( Maruti Suzuki). Other branches placement records are also good.

College Events

4

College organised several cultural & tech fest yearly which are damn good I must say. I must say these provides wide experience to your professional carrier. Cultural events provide refreshments to life & good experience. Even I had participated in several tech fests and won several prizes for these.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible my point of view. Semester fees was varying from from 20k to 25k. Fee of semester was supposed to be paid I starting of semester. There was also late fee submission charges which were not son high. There was also hostel facility provided, I am not aware of fee charges of that.

Fees and Financial Aid

College was providing scholar to schedule class students on the basis of their performances. I am bit unaware of it. As per my information, it was around 10k for year.

Campus Life

5

In mechanical engineering, gender ratio was bit high as compared to other courses. But overall college gender ratio wasn't so high. As I haven earlier explained, college tech fest are damn good provide you good experience for your professional carrier.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility of boys are good. Mess food was also just good. But level of hostel & mess food of girls hostel was very good as compared to boy's one. Hostel from security point of view is more secure for both girls and boys. PG are also available nearby. For boys, I must says PG were better at that time.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good. Senior students help a lot. In starting ragging was there, but as the time passed, it got obsolete.

Exam Structure

Exams & labs are of good level as I have earlier told. Basically the workshops related to the course are more chilling as compared to labs. But I can't says labs related to the course are not good enough. Examination point of view, exams are periodically taken. Course follow semester system of 6 months with 2 sessionals with main exams.

Admission

AIEEE result was out in May of 2009. I started counselling online as prescribed procedure of AIEEE. My aim was to get selected in YMCA, but in first 3 counselling I didn't got selected in YMCA. These counselling took 3 months of span after may. After that in August, inter college counselling started. I got selected in 1st round of counselling as there were 3 more round for it. For inter college counselling I had to fill separate college for entrance on the basis on my AIEEE score.

Faculty

4

Faculty of college is just good, I must say. I generally don't like parrot like learning. But now a days college has become like they are producing degree holders rather than engineers to be made. They are just teaching what's related to course & what is written in books. As no doubts facilities provided are of extremely good level, but of some subjects's faculty wasn't up to the marks at my time.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
