Eligibility criteria for the B.Tech course for management seats are 60% or above in class 10th and 12th (PCM) and an aptitude test of 30 mins, while the other seats are filled by counselling based on UPSEE rankings and JEE rankings. After one clears the eligibility criteria, the college invites them for counselling, verification of documents, results etc. I got admission to the computer science branch in the college through counselling based on UPSEE and JEE rankings. Typically the cutoff for b.tech as per UPSEE rankings is around 25000.

This course provides surety of job if one works on both academics and projects. The daily routine involves classes to be attended from 9 AM to 5 PM of classes to be attended. 2 minor and 2 major projects are made by students during their course. The teaching is of superior quality and the teachers make every effort to make students understand concepts and usability in the real world. There are 2 assignments, 2 class tests, 1 PU than the semester exams. So you'll have to study throughout the year.

I have done an internship in the workmail community which didn't include any stipend. There are various internships available in the college itself for handling the college's social media pages and many others with stipend. Also, there are companies that provide opportunities for internships from Internshala, LinkedIn, Flipkart etc for roles like teaching, campus ambassador, animation etc.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester. The key companies that hire from PSIT are Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, L&T, Wipro for job profiles like data analyst, IT consultant, Cyber Security consultant, big data engineer, software developer etc. The average salary is 6 lac per year, highest salary 26 lac per year. Generally, above 90% of the batch gets placed per year. The college invites alumni for seminar and guidance, we also get a chance to connect with them over projects, internship projects and LinkedIn.

B.tech course from PSIT demands a fee of 162000. Scholarships provided by AKTU is available. The average number of students getting a scholarship is around 120 per year. Depending on students financial status students may choose to take loans. It is easily availed from SBI bank.

There are various societies and clubs in the college which are mainly active during the college fest. Ignitia is the most grand college festival and includes all types of events. College life, in general, is very educative and entertaining as a whole. The infrastructure is excellent including projectors in every class and labs, wifi for hostel and separate dining halls for boys and girls and a library with many quality books including academics and others. There are 2 huge playgrounds, basketball courts, badminton courts etc and there are teams one can be a part of. There are many social groups, my favourite among all others is "utthan' which aims to help the one's in need to rise.

Separate boys and girls hostel AC (90000)and Non-AC (80000). The PGs outside the college are very good and affordable(50000 including meals). The meal is provided for hostlers already included in the fee and highly hygienic. There is wifi for hostlers and separate dining halls for boys and girls which provides an AC facility too.
