Remarks
In order to get admission to this college, one needs to give IPU CET and clear it with a decent ranking. My rank was 29305 which was not the best but it was decent enough for me to get admitted to this college. At first, the counseling will be done online. After the online counseling, if any seats are left available, the offline counseling is conducted which is called spot round. You go to the main IP university and freeze your seat on the day of the spot round.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I was keen on control systems and process control rather than the IT and computer domain. Some of the teaching faculty members are really amazing and they also help and support their students in general. They are very cooperative and understand their students.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide internships of its own but we have to find off-campus internships during the end of the sixth semester. But you can get the reference from your faculty and they will help you find the best internships.
Placement Experience
The best thing about this college is its placements. Since it has a tie-up with Amity university Noida, we get to sit in their placements as well. It is especially heaven for Computer science and IT background students as every day new companies come to recruit the students. Companies like Accenture, Hexaware, TCS, Shell, E&Y, and a lot more are the main recruiters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per year is Rs.95000 but it was Rs.80000 for 2018 batch students. The overall fee is 3.5 LPA approx. I am not sure about the scholarship and financial assistance as I didn't get any but it is there as far as I know.
Campus Life
The campus life is really great. First, our campus was located on Bijwasan but then it got shifted to Amity University since it has a tie-up with Amity Noida. So every February, Amitech is held which is the cultural and technical fest of the college. There is a lot of scope for students seeking club activities like Wordsworth club, drama club, decibel, and technical clubs as well.
