Remarks

I have not applied for any other college as I always wanted to pursue MBA from this college itself. I have not availed of any quota. A minimum of 45% is required in graduation for taking admission in BIMS.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBA is a necessity for every company nowadays. Without an MBA growth in a career is not possible. The ratio stands like 1:5 and all the faculties are highly qualified and best in class. The exams are conducted as per guidelines from our university MAKAUT.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 551000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure stands like 51000/- during admission and then 1,25,000/- per semester. Financial assistance is provided to really meritorious students. There are scholarships available for students having 60% above marks in graduation.

Campus Life

The fest is named IGNACIA which is organized every year. There is a lot of collections of books and journals present in the library. My sports are being played like football, cricket, basketball. There are many cultural groups present within the organization.

Placement Experience:

After the 2 semester the students become eligble for placement. The companies like Deloitte, EY, ITC, Berger paints, HDFC BAnk, Axis bank etc. come here for placements every year. Higest pakage is about 8 LPA and average package revolves around 6-7 LPA. More than 85% students gets placed every year. I am planning to get a job from here and boost my carrer.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and after the 4th-trimester students will be eligible for sitting in the final placements and after the 1st-trimester students will be eligible for the summer internship. Gartner, Big 4 and Grant Thornton like companies that hire in bulk with good packages but Gartner don't hire in bulk and it offers the PPO also after the SIP with around 17lacs, as of now I am not informed of the highest package because I still placements are going on so don't know right now. 97% of students get the placements from the college

So I am in the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata right now. There is no quota section. The minimum mark for applying is 60% with English as a common subject. And minimum age criteria is 18 years. So everyone should give CET exam which is conducted by makaut . This is the common entrance test. It's very easy to clear. There you have to select this college. Previously I completed BBA from the same institution. The senior professors are amazing, they are more like friends. One can approach them with any question without any hesitation. The environment was very nice. But now I regret taking admission here because the higher authorities are more into politics. Student's interests are not being taken care of.
