Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate 4.5 out of 5 our course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. It includes all aspects of practical learning with case study discussion in the classes that helps us to be ready for the real world scenario. The area that needs some improvement are IT infrastructure more softwares can be utilised to be more efficient in tecahing and AI courses should also be introduced. There are three semesters per year and for per semester there is two exams whose difficulty level is decent if you focuses in the class you will score good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Tata steel one of the dream company of mine came here for the role of management trainee. Droom came for the role of business analyst. ICICI for the sales role Tech Mahindra for finance role and mant more.
Placement Experience
From the 4th or 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the placements. One the highest package offered this year is of 40 lakhs by Fiitjee. BFSI sectors companies used to visit the campus very much. ICICI use to recruit the highest number of students. Highest package of thia year is 15 lakhs ctc per annum by Havells and average is of 11 lakhs per annum CTC. Getting in the one of the best company is my dream with the best corporate environment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees increases every year with the rising inflation. Now the the complete course including all hostel and mess charges is 1450000/- and the college also provides scholarship facility to the deserving students according to them and there is special provisions for the north east students for scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus life here very enjoyable with many clubs and commities almost 22 I am being the member of operations club enjoy a lot in organising events. Annual event of our college is campxotica and several clubs organise many events too. We also have e-library and a Bloomberg terminal. There are Ac classroom which is Fully digitally equipped with top notch sound system. Environment of campus is very friendly we use to play many games with seniors. We have a CSR committee runned by us.
Hostel Facilities
We have two hostel one is of single accodation and the other one is of dual. We got facility of laundry and washing machine. There are cleaning staff who use to come everyday. Menu is also decent it is also designed by one of student run committee hostel and mess committee. Registration is included in the addmission only.
Admission
It was quite smooth our Admission committee helped us throughout the process. Yes through the Cat entrance exam I got admitted in this college after my CAT exam i filled the form separately for this college from the college website and after fulfilling the criteria and cat cut off i.e approx 75 percentile for this college I got a interview call from this college and converted this college. CAT exam is held once in a year and it's difficulty level is quite high. The college administration should provide more options for the payment of the first installment of fees.
Interview Experience
There was a interview process in which it was only asked about background related questions like I was from English honours background so they asked me about some novel and writers, simple gk and the current happenings. From stock market it was asked to tell about short selling. Do prepare for the interview with your background well and get it in touch with current affairs regularly. I did the same to crack the interview.
