Remarks

I opted for ibs Kolkata but didn't take admission since they were providing pgpm. No, I didn't avail any quota. The admission criteria were simple with minimum eligibility of mat score 550 and graduation 50.

For higher job role and education purpose. All the faculty are good with immense knowledge in their field. The students are good. And everyday exam and presentation and some teachers are not acquainted with these online modes of teaching

Internships Opportunities

ITC, TOI, VISUDH AJIVAM, AIR KING, MAGNUM FIN CORP, all these came to our college with the role of sales only and target based stipend and only itc provided with the project of marketing and research work was involved by letting the interns travel.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd semester onwards students are eligible for placements and the companies that have visited are ITC TOI SBI TOYOTA BERGER PAINTS OYO MRF SRISTI INDUSTRIES ETC. The highest package is 7 LPA and the avg ranges between 3 to 4.8 LPA and 50% of the batches get placed and after my degree, I will do business.

Fees and Financial Aid

They haven't increased any fees hike and the fee structure is quite normal compared to others and they provide scholarships and good internships but there is no stipend. They haven't provided any pandemic relief in fee structure.

Campus Life

Our college organizes one annual fest this year it was online and the library is stacked with all the latest journals and books and the rest options I won't be able to answer since we are doing class online and haven't visited the campus but college doesn't provide us with any online amenities and facilities.

Interview Experience

General knowledge based gd followed by written test and then pi and these are the general criteria for admission and I was well prepared since I took cochin classes from ims where they prepare with all these.

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

IIM Calcutta has fantastic placement records. This year also it got 100% placement. There are offers for various roles in marketing, finance, consulting, operations, product management, and general management, and it involves the participation of world-renowned organisations. A total of 170 organisations visited the campus, providing a total of 520 job openings. IIM has a 100% placement rate, with the majority of the organisations coming from the consulting, financial services, marketing, and information technology industries. The highest domestic CTC was 60 lakhs, with an average package of roughly 28.5 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.

So I am in the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata right now. There is no quota section. The minimum mark for applying is 60% with English as a common subject. Previously I completed BBA from the same institution. The senior professors are amazing, they are more like friends. One can approach them with any question without any hesitation. The environment was very nice. But now I regret taking admission here because the higher authorities are more into politics. Student's interests are not being taken care of.
