Remarks
So I am in the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata right now. There is no quota section. The minimum mark for applying is 60% with English as a common subject. And minimum age criteria is 18 years. So everyone should give CET exam which is conducted by makaut . This is the common entrance test. It's very easy to clear. There you have to select this college. After that, the college will call you and there will be an extempore session. If you get selected there. Then you are accepted into the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
One of my brothers told me about the good faculty support of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science, Kolkata. Really the faculty members are awesome. Very supportive. They all have Ph.D. degrees. They all are from the corporate sector. But the seat is limited. For BBA there only 60 seats. And they all know our names. That is quite interesting. Apart from the theory paper, there are grooming sessions, personality development sessions, moocs sessions, maar sessions. Which will help us to develop our communication skill, body language, etc. They will provide you the practical knowledge about the corporate world. The entrance exam is not so difficult. So you can go for it.
Internships Opportunities
There are on-campus internships and off-campus internshipss too. Currently, I am appointed as the campus ambassador of IIM Bangalore Vista. So this is a very big opportunity for me. But I am doing it on my own. There are many internships actually. You can go with any internship. Basically, it is for MBA students. But if you are a BBA student and if you want you can do it.
Placement Experience
As I am a BBA first-year student so I don't have too much idea about the placement. Obviously, the placements are very good. Some of my seniors got placed in TCS, Wipro, nestle, etc. Many of them are in foreign countries. They claim that they provide 100% placement. I am thinking of doing my MBA after this. So I really don't think too much about placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is relevant. It is 2 lakh 70 thousand. There is no additional charge. And they will assist you with an education loan. So There is no issue. I don't know about the scholarship. But there are too many internships. I got my first internship in my first semester. According to me BIMS, Kolkata is a good package. And I will suggest your wall go for it.
Campus Life
The annual fest of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science IGNITIA . There are many activities. Like case studies business quiz logo identification dance songs and many more. What talent you have, you can perform there. As everything is online right now so I don't know about the sports activities but I can see on social media that there are few students from our college who are presenting the state-level cricket team. There is a basketball ground in our college. And cricket ground and football ground also. There is a communication club, interaction club, eco club and etc. All the books are available in the library. You just have to make a library card and you can borrow any book from there. No need to purchase any book.
Interview Experience
Firstly we have to give CET exam. Which is conducted by makaut. This is very easy. After that, there will be an extreme session. One of the professors asks you instantly from your background. As I am from an economics background, they asked me something related to economics. It was quite good.
