Entrance Preview

To get admission in SIBM, Pune, one needs to sit for SNAP exam. I score 98.7 percentile in SNAP. I choose SIBM Pune because it is flagship college of Symbiosis fraternity and is ranked among Top 13 B Schools in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Structure is good and main focus will be given on your core stream although you will have minor as well. You can choose electives and there is good amount of courses to choose from.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, SIBM call companies for summer internship and very good companies come to campus. Coke, TATA Motors, JP Morgan, Nomura, Asian Paints, ICICI to name a few. Stipend ranges from 20000 to 80000 in general.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good and great career opportunities. Paackage ranges from 9 lakh to 22 lakh CTC.

College Events

There are about 9 Student council teams and each team organize different event pertaining to their council. Transcend in SIBM annual management fest, GRAVITAS-Sports fest, ARCTURUS-Corporate Interaction, Symbi Haat etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee is around 13 lakh for 2 years. It includes everything like academic, hostel, mess etc. Some portion is refundable also.

Fees and Financial Aid

SNAP toppers will get 50% rebate in fee. Loan can be availed from availed from any bank. SIBM Pune is a brand and you will get loan easily.

life on campus is AWESOME. You will definately miss it once you leave. Gender ratio is also good. 35-65 ratio is there on an average

HOSTELS are really great. You will that you are staying in 3-star hotel. Mess is also good. Buffet system is there. Great variety for both veg and non veg

everyone is really helpful. There is no senior-junior thing. Everyone is very approachable.

Most of the faculty in SIBM is from outside who are teaching subjects in their area of expertise. They have spent good amount of time in industry and have ample knowledge. SIBM also have full time teachers which are also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college provide some extra certificates like Excel or others which not value for money and also taeches foreign language but not single student can speak after the degree. And also not any facilities can speak german language

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Balanced learning and real world relavance

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's well structured but there are areas that could be enhanced to better prepare students for the real world. Curriculum sessions are twice weekly, other faculty are invited to gain information from the industry. Recently, we had our ebek Cambridge exam. It was useful us to learn english for better knowledge gain.

Faculties are very good and supportive always ready to help. it is easy to connect any faculties between 9 am to 7 pm and most of faculty leave in campus. Faculty always encourage the student to take part in extracurricular activities. Medical Facilities is available 24*7. The admin staff is also supportive. Remarks:

The faculties here are very supportive and some of them are always available on campus to help the students and mentor the students to groom them. They always push the students to learn by doing; which is experiential learning. The set up the talks and sessions from industry leaders time to time to keep the students and themselves update about the changes in the corporate world and make them ready to face the challenges.

To take this exam, you must have graduated from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for the final year can also apply. You can find the application form, fees, and dates on SIBM Pune's website. Reservation of 15% for SCs, 7.5% for STs, 15% above intake for international students and 3% for differently abled. The admission process starts starts with an exam SNAP. it's safer to score 98.5+ percentile to get a call from SIBM Pune.
